I hate to leave such a negative review because the staff seemed nice and tried to fix their mistakes but I would never recommend coming here for dip. I’ve never asked any service provider to fix their mistakes until my visit here. TLDR: my first set was sloppy and messy, I got cut four times by three different nail techs, and was so frustrated I asked them to remove my nails and let me leave without a refund because I didn’t trust them to fix it.
Long version: I asked for pink & white dip and the first red flag was them using gel polish instead of dip for the tips. I bled twice during this first initial appointment, and the nails were uneven in length and the tips were all different sized and looked very messy, especially for a $60 service.
I called after I left and they invited me back to the salon to fix their mistakes. The staff member who initially tried to fix it insisted on using gel despite me saying I wanted dip because that was the service I paid for, and also cut me for the third time. It was at this point I asked them to remove whatever was left and let me leave because they didn’t seem able to fix it how I wanted and I was very frustrated.
The manager Van then stepped in and really tried to fix it, but he still cut me for a fourth time and was only able to do a solid color dip despite me wanting pink & white.
I understand cuts happen at nail salons, I’ve been getting dip nails for years, but this is the first time I’ve had four in a row by three different techs.
Overall, the salon just seemed to take shortcuts with the service, like putting my hands directly in a bowl of rubbing alcohol (despite knowing I had fresh cuts) instead of using cotton balls and foil, using gel polish when I asked for dip, and not even taking the time to check my nails against each other to make sure they were the same length/shape.
