I highly recommend EMAH. The staff and vets are very personable and caring. My pups have been to EMAH for general check ups and several different surgical procedures. All of which have gone well with quick healing and recovery.

Took my American Eskimo in for a dental and an eyelid mass removal. Dr. Cristie Kutz and her team were amazing. Thank you for clearly communicating the treatment plan, and informing me on the next steps along the way. I would recommend Elk Meadow to anyone looking for quality veterinaty care for their pets.

Our vet for our two dogs and now our kitty. They are extremely good about making you aware of their doings, letting you make informed decisions independently and respecting you for it. I even come in juggling my toddler and they are very sweet and understanding of our sometimes-crazy energy. Thanks to everybody here!

Helped my poor cat with almost no notice and they were so wonderful and sweet about it. Thank you all, you are all so nice. We are so appreciative.

I am so very grateful that I found my way to the doors of Elk Meadows Veterinary Hospital. When moving to a new area, finding new support for competent and compassionate medical care for your pets is high on the list. Drs. Jason and Christie Kutz are setting the bar. In fact - to a person - I find their staff to be amazing. They are responsive, personable, incredibly thorough and thoughtful about you as well as your pet! Perhaps my highest validation is to relate that I truly believe their timely and thorough care saved the life of my 14 year old Aussie who had what I think was a rare immune condition. Happy to report she is doing fantastically well today. I not only highly recommend these doctors and practice. I will go nowhere else.

If I could give a six star review I would! Elk Meadow Vet Hospital has been so kind to our puppy Arpo since we moved to Evergreen one year ago. They have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions for us and we are very appreciative for all of their support and expertise.

Based on the advice of Mrs G, who cares for her pets as if they were her grandparents or children, yes we are happy with Elk Meadow. Our regular vet in Nederland was unable to treat our precious canine's injury. After much deliberation, we decided to try Elk Meadow. He got excellent care and personally, I was surprised at the reasonable price.

It's really too bad that I have to write this review because this is been a very good vet for many of years. The reason I'm writing this review is something has changed. I respected them, I do not feel the same in return after having teeth extracted from our dog. There was miscommunication on how many teeth were going to be extracted. Might be my fault, might not. Regardless, when I called to get verification , the Doctor Who I had dealt with for many of years was very defensive about the conversation that his wife and i had had on how many teeth were going to get extracted. he kept telling me that she was right and I was wrong and he heard the conversation. He also kept telling me how cheap of a procedure this was compared to if I went somewhere else. I never did shop around, my dog's health and people I trust is more my concern than the money. I hate the fact that my dog may have to go under anesthesia again , the risk factors, and the recovery time all over again. Don't get me wrong, The fact that we'll have to pay another $800 to get the full procedure done again rather than the $50 it would have taken to do it at the same time makes me kind of swallow hard as well. They have grown, and in turn there's a lot of miscommunication that goes on. The doc wasn't there when I picked up my dog, the receptionist really didn't know what was going on. She just handed me a piece of paper saying that there might be two more teeth that need to get removed. If the doc would have called today and talk to me like a normal human being I would have understand that stuff happens and miscommunication occurs. He didn't.. he was in a big hurry to hang up the phone on me. I do really hope this message reaches him and he can find a way to go back to the business being personable while growing. In the meantime, maybe this message will help slow things down a little bit so they have time to get their feet on the ground to ensure the best possible treatment for every animal.

I had just adopted a scared/timid dog and was concerned about frightening him with a vet visit. Before I handed my other dog and him over (covid restrictions) I discussed with them my concerns. When I read the report from the vet I knew it was the perfect choice: "Mr. Mudd was timid but he was responsive. We gave him lots of love and his eyes softened up."

They no longer let you go in with your animal and in doing so we got charged an extra $35 for something we could do ourselves and didn't want done. Either let one person in with our animal or call us to tell us what you are doing with them so we are not getting charged for unwanted procedures. This is the third time this has happened.

My first visit for our 2 dogs (a 2-year old Golden and a 12-year old Aussie mix) was outstanding. Dr. Christie Kutz was so thorough, caring, and responsive. I was appreciative of the time she and her staff took to provide the best information. The Covid restrictions felt less onerous when working with Mark, the very thorough and personable CVT. I have confidence that future visits, and counting on this team as a resource will be positive!

Having the rare opportunity to be able to comment both from the perspective of a client and as someone lucky enough to see the behind the scenes, I want to share my experience in regards to the people and practice of Elk Meadow Veterinary Hospital.First, I would like to tell you about the staff that run this amazing ship. At the top of this crew is a captain that honestly reminds me of Patch Adams.Jason is the most real doctor that I have ever encountered, and seeing how he brings his personal side with him everyday, his love and compassion, is alone worth the trip to the vet. Jason's and experience not only shines through his treatment approach, but through the way he treats the clients and the staff he is responsible for.Christie is the other half of the leadership, and her expertise in the field of veterinary medicine, paired with the honest love and care that she demonstrates with each and every client, leaves nothing lacking. To single out any of the other staff would be an injustice, as I never seen a team so devoted and so deeply knowledgeable. From the upfront, where you feel like family, to the back where the real magic happens, each and every member of this crew shines in their own unique way, and it is a testament to the knowledge of the leadership and the trust therein.I would absolutely recommend this place, even on the worst day, because never have I felt so much love and compassion for those who can't speak, and really, that's what it's all about for me I feel completely at home there, and I'm sure you will too.

Due to relocation I had to find a new vet for my 3 dogs, 2 with lifelong medications needed. The reviews seemed great. The results were poor. From the receptionists to the vet techs, every contact was incompetent. The Dr’s may be great; I wouldn’t know, because they didn’t care enough to meet a new client. They also prescribed what I and another Veterinarian thought was an aggressive treatment for an easily solved allergy. Please be the best advocate for your pet and look elsewhere.

I've been taking my dogs here for years. Dr Kutz is caring and thorough. I've always felt comfortable taking my dogs here. And compared to wheat ridge and VRPC, I think their pricing is good.

Great staff and very knowledgeable, they answer all of my questions and concerns. I definitely recommend taking your pet there and getting the vaccines for life.
