I agree with most people on here when they say it is a great place to take your car....unless they know you!! My wife's grandma had taken her car there not once or twice but 3 times only to charge her a fortune to clear some codes only to have the problem come back again. I am a mechanic and when she asked me to look at her car because it came back for the 3rd time with even worse issues I was able to diagnose the issues that it was having. There was a vacuum line left off the purge valve that was causing rough idling as well as a really hard brake pedal. That could have been a catastrophic problem if she had not asked me to look at it. Thankfully I did and restored her car back to normal. I would NEVER recommend Onorato Garage to anyone especially my family! He is not an honest mechanic at all.

Despite their busy schedule, this shop took care of my tail light issues without making me leave the car. Every employee was courteous and I felt at home there after only a few minutes. This family owned garage will be my new repair shop from now on.

My aunt had to get the water pump fixed on her Cadillac. I called Onoratos on a Monday and he gave me an estimate and time frame, and was able to bring the car in on Tuesday. Not only did he come in lower than his estimate but he met the time frame. The water pump was replaced and he topped off all the fluids in the vehicle. My aunt was very happy and the car ran great. Thank you Onorato for doing such a great job!! Thank you, Rick

I asked for a dyad on my 1998 Honda Accord v6 it was running roughly and was idleing messed up and barley started I figured it just needed something easy do to the fact when it stopped running on me it still sounded like a really healthy engine this was the worst shop I have ever taken my car to they barley answered the phone and then when I talked to them it sounded like they didn't even do a dyad on it rather they just guessed and through a bunch of parts at it and then when that didnt work I got hit with the excuse of oh I've been in automotive field for 37+ years and I've never had a vehicle act this funny tell me how the same day I got it back I had it idling with starting fluid however I'm doing the fuel injectors and I'm looking inside the throttle body just to find a puddle of radiator fluid I looked that up and it told me it usually caused by a faulty intake manifold gasket witch they had replaced so just more issues on top of what I'm already dealing with I really appreciate the help thanks onorato garage for keeping my car for a month and a half and not do any justice for this.

Its so hard to find a competent mechanic that it's trustworthy but I definitely did it. And family owned garage that has helped build this community for generations, this place is pure gold! If you want to get taken for a ride go to one of those national chain places then go to Onorato and get treated fairly!

Took my F150 in for a cam phaser replacement. Work took a little over a week due to parts being delayed. I have had my truck back now for almost one month, no issues at all, excellent work done by Les and his crew. The price was very reasonable too, very happy with all the work and the communication during this process. I highly recommend this place for any of your automotive repair needs. I will definitely come back if my truck or any of my other vehicles need an excellent mechanic. Thank you Les!!

I took a boat to these guys for a professional opinion on whether or not I should purchase. Worst mistake I've ever made! They told me the engine was fine and that they could get it up and running for next to nothing. After that i made the deal on the vehicle. Then it all fell apart. These guys ended up having my boat for ALMOST 3 MONTHS,charged me about a thousand dollars and ultimately made the situation way worse. During the 3 months that they had the boat I called and texted numerous times for updates and hardly ever got ahold of anyone. When I did get ahold of them they assured me everything was fine. Ultimately I showed up one day after almost 3 months and the boat hadn't been hardly touched. Long story short they came to realize the engine was completely shot and they said they would give me a refund for all the hassle and for ultimately costing me thousands of dollars. Weeks and months went by and they never followed through or got in touch ever again. I tried multiple times again to get ahold of someone and of course no answer. PLEASE STAY AWAY!! save your self the troubles as it's very obvious that if things don't go 100% smoothly on their end they will absolutely not take care of the customer and they only care about their bottom line.

I just want to give a shoutout to Les from Onorato Garage. He is the most honest mechanic there is around the Tri-Town area. I was having issues with the heater on my 2004 Honda Civic. This other shop told me I pretty much needed a new engine due to the head gaskets going bad. I had read some pretty good comments about Les Onorato so I took my car to him for a second opinion. He was able to diagnose the problem and told me I just needed a new thermostat and a new heater core . I was so close to having this other shop do the head gaskets ($3,400) or put a new used engine ($6,500) but Les saved the day. He worked on my car over the weekend and he got it all done. This man is your guy whenever you need something done to your vehicles. He won’t lie to you like these other big shops do. He’ll only charge you for the things your car needs. His words, “ I am not here to make money, I am here to make the customer happy. I was taught to do the right thing and be honest and you will go far in life”
