Low Quality Road Base, but Fast Delivery$11/ton + $80 delivery for what looks like sandy fill. This is much lower quality 3/4" road base than what I'm used to. Barely any stone and mostly just sand/dirt (see pic). It packs down well, but wasn't expecting much better material. This stuff turns to wet muddy mess after a hard rain (even when packed firm), while other road base holds its form. The place I usually buy from in Canon City charges $4/ton + $110 delivery and the quality is 10x better (lots of stone aggregate and the rest is mostly crushed granite fines). I recommend that you shop around and view material in person before ordering. On the plus side, they were able to turnaround an order in less than 24hrs and the $80 delivery charge is the lowest of anyone in the area.
