Desert Reef Hot Spring is a refuge and community-focused hot spring originally created in 1986, recently renovated. It offers a safe and welcoming place to relax, recharge, and find inspiration. The facility is very nice and clean overall, with clean and spacious changing rooms. There are multiple pools, with five pools to soak in, each at different temperatures. The pools are clean and kept hot. The setting is in the middle of nowhere but is worth the drive. A reservation is required for a soak. The atmosphere is clothing optional in the three pools at the back area after 6:30 pm, with one day a week where clothing is not optional. The bathroom and shower area is clean and comfortable, though there are only two. On busy days, the smaller pools can become crowded. The walk to the pools is a long distance and can be very dark at night, which may be spectacular under a full moon. Visitors report a wonderful experience and great value for money with great staff, leading many to plan a return.
Lovely place. Its easy to get to, clean, very simply beautiful. The staff was sweet and you can tell they care about regulars and the regulars care too. I love that its a quiet hotspring, there are plenty of party or family vibes around colorado. The quiet relaxation vibes make it feel bougie, but the pricing isn't bad

I love everything about it. Clean pools are kept hot. It is dress optional for the 3 pools at the back area. I believe there is one day of the week we're dress is NOT optional. Value for money and great staff.
