Reliable delivery service and technical support is superb. They even flew in extra help during a winter crunch to speed deliveries. I changed to AmeriGas a couple of years ago and have not been sorry.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY they lock you in a contract and then charge you the highest prices for fill around. I feel scammed. Shop around, most companies charge less per gallon.

My propane tanks were not installed as I was told they would be. It's impossible to talk to my local office about deliveries and living in a tough location to get to it's a necessity. No matter how many times I ask to be contacted before delivery my driver or office never calls. The last fill I got the driver/operator didn't even report my propane tank levels correctly after filling. At this point I'm just praying any other propane company locally will start delivering to me.

Worst customer experience I have ever had. Not only did the driver fill the wrong tanks, they came back with a new driver saw the wrong tanks again and left without filling them AGAIN while saying the tanks were already full (this is the dumbest excuse to leave without filling tanks I have ever received). The driver and notes are supposed to reach out 30 minutes prior to delivery and never do. Moving on...four days later even though an urgent request was added (after hours of complaints and a formal complaint on my end) they finally got around to a delivery after hours on the phone with supervisors. Customer call center is horrible, drivers are lazy and won't even look for the empty tanks to fill, and supervisors do not care about the issues or how to fix an issue their drivers create. Not one thing ever goes right regarding a propane delivery that is truly the easiest thing to be completed. They have an adddress, a work order, and timeframe for delivery. All that you have to do is located the empty tanks (they don't move), fill them, and leave. Quite a simple request that this company still fails to complete time and time again.
DO NOT USE them if you can help it.

They don't list the propane price for automatic delivery and then charge way above market price.

I already responded to this delivery. I ordered 400 gallons at a specific price and the driver was running out and so we only received 200 gallons. I find this totally unacceptable. If YOU run out of gas then you should be obligated to deliver the other 200 gallons, with NO additonal cost, other than the propane itself. It is your problem that you made my problem. Now I have to order again and the price will be higher. No one reached out of was even concerned about this. It is the WORST customer service and your service throughout our time of having your company has been not that great. We will be seeking a new provider, which there are many to choose from, for our propane.

Powerless against their corporate overlords that cannot stick to there agreed upon schedule. Every year we know it’s going to be difficult to get a simple propane delivery, and every year it doesn’t fail to disappoint. This year, our delivery has been pushed back 3 times. Each day they fail to show up at the agreed upon day. Each day we call and are assured they will show the next day. This does not happen. Customer service acts like we are crazy for questioning, yet the continue to not show at agreed upon times. Absolutely terrible customer service.

This company sucks. They failed to deliver propane as promised causing major damage to my home. They fo not have any customer service. Most of the time you are connected to a call center in India. I am currently in contact with the attorney General in Colorado but not holding my breath they will do anything about it. This had caused major havoc in our lives. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Propane delivery was two weeks late in mid winter. Terrible customer service. Agents cannot be understood. Long hold times with routings to other agents. Misinformation about rescheduling. Website unhelpful and vague . Not able to ever get clear answers. I would not recommend AmeriGas to anyone.

Honestly, I would give 0/5 stars if I could. AmeriGas has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It seems they have almost completely outsourced to Bangalore (ironic, I know), as I have only once spoke to a native English speaking agent. We have made multiple appointments for service and filling that AmeriGas fumbled, canceled, or just entirely failed to show up. And when they do so, we don’t hear from them. On top of that, their prices are high and they seem to always tack on added fees. We have property that is difficult to access and their smaller trucks allow for filling. If you have a choice, I urge you to choose a different propane supplier. Seriously, 0/10 would not recommend.

Our experience with your company was excellent. Good service from the start setting us up for a transfer from our previous propane company to you. Quick delivery combined with a good monthly payment plan vs. a lot of $ to be paid in full ($110 per month vs. over $800 one time charge). We will continue using AmeriGas for service.
