My new PA at the Oakridge office in Fort Collins is really good! She has been attentive and does not rush me. I’ve like my last 3 PAs from the same office so I hope she sticks around for a while. I’m trying to have patience with their Village Medical phone system only because I like my provider but if they don’t get it sorted out soon, I may have to find a new Dr with UC Health. It’s not AFM’s fault. Village Medical has tried to do things cheaper but it is definitely not efficient and they don’t “portal” with UC Health so going to 2 or 3 different portals for information or to communicate with Dr’s or PA’s is incredibly frustrating. My rating is solely based on my PA. She is great!

Dr. Z is caring and knowledgeable! She’s a great addition to AIFM (aka Village Medical). Since VM took over its much harder to get hold of staff at the practice because of a call center that is always crazy busy. Hopefully that will improve.

Amanda Bennett was fantastic: She listened closely, asked open-ended questions, was patient, and treated me with respect and trust that I know my own body and physical needs. It would be five stars, but the front office staff spoke to each other unprofessionally about patients whom they talked to on the phone, within my earshot as I sat in the waiting room.

I feel like nobody is listening or truly caring for their patients at Village Medical since they have been bought out with an out of town corp. In fact, it is easier for me to drive across town and go into their office to ask a question than to wait for a call back.Their phone and online sign in page (portal) is noted that it will take 48 to 72 hours to get back to the patient. Ever since Associates in Family medicine has been bought out this medical office (also owned by Walgreens)has displayed unorganized, and even the workers have commented on not knowing the facts to complete a call (like today) They have nicely shared their experience own frustrations with the new buyout —losing valuable information “misplacing it” from personal records that haven’t transferred over to their new system. (Over a year now) This might be a sign of the future for every medical office but I sure hope not because it really feels like nobody cares anymore. It’s a very depressing feeling. The best part is this surprising link to rate this office that was sent to me moments ago to rate my last 2 appts(today I was called in again because they didn’t have all the information able to be accessed last week when I went in for my health and wellness. A complete waste of time on my end and being charged unnecessary fees is so frustrating. No office manager bothered to call me to apologize to the inconvenience or explain these fees to me.I was forced to come in because of a “technicality “of costs that I won’t get into, but The nurse said the fee is “subject to provider discretion.l and can vary.”I will be filing a formal complaint to rain tree Village, which again, another interesting sidenote, is also owned by Walgreens. They didn’t disclose that info. To me or my family; instead I found out at a work function and verified it to be true! When pressed, they said yes, isn’t that an awesome connection? To me, no. I like freedom of choice and being felt heard and valued….NOT having out of town phone banks to return timely calls. Please respond if you have a doctors office in Fort Collins that still listens to the patients. Too bad Dr. Palagi is only at new Belgium. No one is quite like her. Thank you for reading, and I hope you all have a healthy future.

If i could leave no stars i would. I have never been so disrespected and ignored and dismissed during a doctors appointment. Dr. Zs assistant was busy texting the doctor about something that wasn’t happening that appointment and she seemed to not know what she was doing as she asked me if my blood pressure was low after taking it. Dr. Z did not answer any question i had with a for sure answer except for “ask your doctor”, including when it came to medications. She was unclear when asking me to do something and she also didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. when she asked which Gynecologist i would prefer i asked for the one not in associate in family medicine and she seemed almost offended when i chose the other option. I felt as if the whole time i was here i was being treated like a stupid young pregnant woman and it was not okay. i would not recommend this location at all!!!!

This was my first ever appointment here. I scheduled myself for a full physical. In my experience, the first time a doctor ever sees a patient the appointment should be lasting AT LEAST a half an hour. That was not the case here. The doctor was with me for 5 minutes, then sent me off for blood work. Did not look beneath the surface in any way shape or form. I had one concern I brought up with the doctor and she completely brushed it off.Horrible bedside manner, doctor seemed uninterested in evaluating me. Listened to my heart and lungs, checked out the moles on my back, and that’s it. It was truly unacceptable and I HIGHLY ADVISE you look elsewhere for medical care. You will waste your money and time going to this doctors office. I promise you that. I have never had such an abbreviated and unacceptable physical done by a doctor. Even if there was something wrong with me, the doctor would not have picked up on it,

All the staff at AFM are excellent. I feel like they truly care about me and my health. They take the time to listen too. Every office visit they've seen me on time or a few minutes early. Never late. Please tell them all thank you for me.

I injured my ankle while I was on a trip outside of the country. I went to see Amanda Benedict, who is a PA in the clinic. She is such a great healthcare provider, very experienced, very professional and very patient. I really appreciated the visit with Amanda.

I recently re-established my contact with Associates in Family Medicine as my PCP after having moved out of the area for 9 years. My first return appointment was 10/6/23.I was completely satisfied with the administrative and care aspects of my appointment, and look forward to continuing my PCP care with them. They promptly scheduled me for my first visit, all staff were polite and supportive, I waited only a few minutes when I arrived, my physician took all the time needed to be up to date on my conditions, and my continuing needs were promptly attended to. I am in my mid seventies and have conditions that require regular medical attention.I was able to establish access to the patient portal on the web without difficulty.I'm completely happy with my experience with AFM.

I am an 87 year old woman, and have been going to Associates for over a year and recently am receiving care twice a week. I have had 3 different physical therapists over that time, and have always had great care. Each of the 3 has listened to my feedback and developed my PT plan accordingly. And they make it fun - I couldn't ask for more.

Very disappointed with this Dr's and will be looking to move if things dont improve.Joined about a year ago and everything fine, easy to get an appointment and speak to someone.Over the last month or so I have tried to get in contact with someone to ask regarding vaccinations, however I simply CANNOT get through to ANYBODY on the phone - I've tried multiple times and have waited on average over 25 each time on hold. On 2 occasions I have left a voice-mail asking someone to call me back. That has never happened.I can't even imagine how I'll make an appointment when I actually need one, short of driving myself there and presenting myself to the reception desk. What an awful waste of time. Can anyone in management begin to explain what is going on please? Being able to get through and speak to somebody is a basic role of a doctors surgery which this one is miserably failing at.

I have been a patient of Village Medical South Office (previously Associates in Family Medicine) for over 30 years. I have always received top notch care. My physician (Dr. Reider) is easy to talk to and is genuinely interested in how I am doing and always answers my questions completely.

Village Medical is the Frontier Airlines of medical. They took over a very good group of clinics and cut back everythingso that no one including office staff are unhappy. 20+ minut wait to talk to receptionist. The call center model lacks communication with doctors and has made multiple mistakes on my prescriptions. In addition the App does not work and the website crashes regularly and is amateurish design.
