Extremely poor customer service. It should have been a simple lease buyout and they were very incompetent and very RUDE! Stay away from this credit union. The customer is NOT king!

I've been with Bellco for decades. However, in one month, the Fort Collins branch has me looking for a new credit union. Their policies are not consistent with those of other banks. As a former licensed banker, I had some questions about a mistake made with my account. I called the regional manager, and I never received a return call. Believe the negative reviews..

My car loan came to maturity. For the term of the loan I paid by ACH. The final ACH was eight dollars over the amount needed for the last payment to pay off the loan. The total payment was returned to my ACH account. I noticed this 14 days after the maturity date of the loan. I contacted a representative of Bellco and (It took forever) was informed that I needed to come to a Bellco branch to make a final payment, BY CHECK, because my ACH was $8.00 more than the final loan payment?!! This is their policy. I never received ANY communication to this effect, NONE NADDA! So I drove an hour to the nearest branch only to be informed that I had to pay an $15 late fee!! Tell me Bellco spokes person - Instead of sending back my complete payment why wasn't the loan paid in full and the remaining $8.00 amount sent back to me? How come I was never contacted that this had happened or was about to happen?! Are you hurting so bad that you need to swindle a late fee from a long time customer. I own four small business's. If I ever treated a client like this they would never return! They would tell a friend about their experience and they would tell a friend and so on and so on. I must say if this effects my credit score I'll be taking this to the next level. You are messing with peoples lives and there are consequences!! You have my contact information associated with me account. Wait a couple days before you contact me. I have to cool off.

Do yourself a favor and bank with someone else. I have had nothing but issues which have taken me hours on the phone and in person to fix. No one at this location seems to know what they are doing and appear to just be warm bodies keeping the seats warm. Completely incompetent!

I had a very bad experience with buying out my lease. I went into the branch, paid what they said was due. Fast forward 3 months, multiple phone calls, multiple service reps all telling me different things, I think it is taken care of, but the service, the knowledge from the services reps and the whole process was very disappointing. @bellco I looked for an email or process to give my feedback, but could not find anything.

I used this location's ATM to deposit cash into my account, and the funds were never received. When I contacted Bellco Credit Union Customer service about the issue, they refused to provide any assistance.If you value your money and time, I would advise not visiting this location, and I would recommend using a different credit union that values customers.

As a longtime member of Bellco, I have grown accustomed to receiving stellar customer service. They have opened up a new branch in Fort Collins, which is great for the residents up here. However, the branch manager has poor customer service skills; they greeted me as if I were a burden coming into the store. I had to return to the branch to ensure an account was established because the branch manager did not follow through as promised. Then they refused to answer questions directly when inquiring about some financial products. According to Bellco Fort Collins, the members are just numbers that just need to get crunched; no ounce of empathy in that branch.

Ala and Ryann were a huge help in refinancing our auto loan! Their customer service was awesome and they went above and beyond to explain every detail to my wife and I.They got everything done quickly and it was a very easy process.Would for sure recommend!

Had my car loan through Bellco, when I sold my car they took over a month to mail the title and then proceeded to send it to the wrong address. They were impossible to get ahold of, and when I did manage to get ahold of someone they said that they had at least “10 business days to mail the title and to just be patient”. It’s takes two weeks to put something in the mail? Thanks to all their unnessecary red tape, I still haven’t received my money for my car.

Bellco is great to work with. I’ve been with them for around 20 years and it’s great to finally have a branch in Fort Collins! I visited recently and they were super friendly and helpful.

We really wanted to move our business here due to its location....but interesting how one bad experience can completely solidify a bad perception. Today, my wife went into this newly opened location. I was communicating through text.The women from the bank would best be discribed as a nervous nelly - she hid behind two large screens, was completely unorganized and had very poor people skills. My wife had to move her chair near the door to have eye contact and the women made no comment..obviously ok with not seeing her prospective customer.No introduction...we did not know her name and she never asked for my wife's - that's really an odd encounter and a complete turnoffAhe kept asking if we wanted to open account today...did not want to know why we were moving, the types of accounts we were interested in and size of funds we would transfer.Sad...we felt sorry for her as she should not be representing the bank with her current training. Very nice lobby...they did a great job building th bank.... Maybe they should have considered how poorly trained staff would have had a greater impact then a cool lobby
