Love shopping here! I always walk out with tons of great finds from brands I love but am not willing to pay full price for. The women working here are super helpful and welcoming which makes my experience that much better.

Not very polite and very stingy! I have a lot of clothing that was very nice and some used maybe once or twice and they only wanted one item!?!?! I brought a huge amount of clothing! Not impressed and made me feel bad ?

Reviewing on behalf of my wife:She brought clothes to sell and the representative that was working the counter was by far one of the most difficult people to work with. Every time we asked for clarification on something she would say the opposite of what she just said. When asked what happens if we don't return the day of the drop off she told us we would get the cash out value instead of the store credit value for what we trade in. When we called after the offer was ready she wouldn't tell us the offer amounts and said if we don't come in the items are forfeit and we receive nothing. The receipt states the same thing she told us initially. We called back shortly later and she told us that we just get the cash value (which is what she initially stated but then recanted in our first phone call.)This was a terrible and confusing experience. I do not recommend working with this location for selling your items.

went into your store today and I struggle with anxiety and I haven’t had a panic attack in over a year but as one of your workers were handing me my things I started to shake uncontrollably and my hands were shaking pretty badly It almost sent me into a panic attack Can you remind your team members to be more kind, and considerate to others and be considerate of there time as well & to also communicate to others in a professional way I heard the ladies up front talking the entire time as my things are being gone through I go up to the counter after 35 minutes have passed ( nobody was ahead of me ) and I had one basket I ask “ are my items done ?” She told me that they weren’t and that it needs to be put into the system I say “ can I please have my things back “ considering I worked at a resell store in the past and it takes 15 minutes per basket and I didn’t want to wait any longer she than says “ well it was a total pass anyways “ So this worker of yours was going to make me intentionally wait on my things knowing that I’m in a time crunch for the fact that I was asking if my things were done Another thing to note is I went up a little earlier asking if they were done and they said no and I’m thinking if your worker tried to make me wait on purpose that she may have purposely passed on all of my things as well ( I had Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle and other quality named brands ) Just please be nice to others considering you have no idea what someone is going through!

What in interesting place. I have taken clothes there several times. Most of my shopping is JCrew, Anthroplogie, Nordstrom, Ann Taylor, Tory Burch, boutiques, etc. Mostly shopping at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale, AZ. where I lived for 15 years. Some online shopping from these places. I'm always entertained by what they think is current and on trend, or high end. They passed up new JCrew jeans never worn but laundered and fresh, Donald Pliner black strappy heals (hand made in Spain), Tory Burch Espadrilles like new (not a great shoe for me with a higher arch). I asked out of curiosity why they weren't interested in my clothing for future reference, I don't want to bring them clothing they will always turn down. They told me they don't take anything worn looking, and if it's distressed it needs to be intentional. As they are telling me this, I look over and see a really unfortunate looking pair of jeans hanging on an end rack. I got home and took my clothes out of my basket and saw my favorite Lucky boot cut jeans with intentional but slight distressing, and boy was I glad they didn't want them! I paid about $160 for them at the Lucky Store in Scottsdale, and they were not supposed to be in that basket! Whew! Anyhow, they determine what they want, but I question their taste. I haven't seen anything in the store I would purchase, as most of it looks pretty worn. read lessKelly A.'s profile image

This store is just Plato’s Closet for boring middle-aged women. Over priced, ugly merchandise, not worth your time. I waited 3 hrs and drove all the way across town twice for a teenager in a drug rug to accept one item and offer me $3 for it. Save your time, money and energy by consigning somewhere local that has a taste in clothes that’s evolved past the 2010s ✌️

Absaloutely beyond frustrated! I have been to this store 5 times in 10 days. Their buy counter is always closed or it opens at 1pm or they have a 1 basket only rule. It is beyond absurd. I came at 1pm when the buy counter opened and there were 5 people ahead of me. Wouldn't take my 4 baskets. If you are going to have a buy counter- than have it open everyday with normal hours and allow people to bring in multiple items. I went to platos closet and they took almost everything. And went through 4 baskets in 30 min. Very very dissapointed. For someone who lives a bit away- it's not worth my time!

Don’t waste your time trying to sell quality clothes here. I’ve driven across town 3 times in last 2 weeks and every time there was sign indicating buy counter was closed. Today I even called before going and they told me they were open to buy clothes until 4pm. I got there at 3:10pm and again there was a sign that buy counter was closed. Told them I called about an hour earlier and the person at the counter told me “yeah, sorry we got slammed and had to close early.” I am done with this place.

I visited after several years and found it to be as nice as ever. They have a very nice, fully stocked store. I purchased a lovely pair of Tommy Hilfiger boots on sale for $20.00.

When they’re staffed this place can be a great place to resell and buy gently used clothing. BUT over the past month I’ve had 3+ frustrating experiences while trying to sell clothes here. One being calling to ask how many bins they’d accept and being told 1. Then 15 minutes later when I arrived they wouldn’t accept the bin even after I explained I’d just called to inquire. This time I decided I wouldn’t return to buy or sell with them.If you do decide to sell here I highly recommend calling before you arrive to know what you’re getting into.

Store was clean and well organized. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentative yet distant (not asking if I needed help but were on hand if I needed something.)Prices were reasonable for used items, and in good to great condition. Selling items was quick first thing on a Saturday morning, which I wasn't expecting. They were upfront with how they priced items to sell and how that trickled down to the seller. You do get a little more if you opt for store credit vs cash.Overall, I would sell here again and can see it becoming a favorite spot for clothes shopping.
