Dr. Wheeler has been the FIRST veterinarian to regard my mini Jersey as more than mere cattle. He regarded her, the patient, with respect and I very much appreciate that. He also seems to be passing this philosophy and practice onto his assistant.His "bed-side" manner is excellent. He is kind and still efficient. I breed Rottweilers through AKC and have a line of dogs that is in the superior lineage category. I live in Arvada and drive a little over an hour to see him. Hopefully, that speaks volumes. He knows his animals, has been raised with animals on a farm. He does not push unnecessary surgeries ( I have heard my fill being a breeder), does not overcharge, and he listens to you. I would never go to anyone else as long as he is within a 3-hour drive from me.

Dr. Wheeler is so professional and caring...he is the best vet I have ever had...he makes a major difference in the health care of my animals...so grateful for him....
