Don't pay down your cards. They will just lower your credit limit, so you are maxed again. Super shady

I’ve been banking here since 2016 and have always had a fabulous experience. They are fast, friendly, and helpful. I don’t understand where all the negatives reviews are coming from! My experiences have been great.

Great Experience! As an international student I can't easily get an unsecured credit card from a US bank. But having a checking account with fnbo, one of the staff (Patrick) could get me a credit card. My application was first denied, but he reapplied on my behalf and got the credit card for me.

The kindest/most helpful staff I have met in Fort Collins. Don't know why the low rating from other users.

Very helpful staff! I have had many questions over my time at CSU, and they have always helped -- and with a smile!

Incredibly slow. Understaffed. Get ready to sit in line.

The bank sends a ton of promotional flyers advertising special support and involvement with CSU. On a phone call, the service rep confirmed that they open a special credit card to help students establish credit history. Then, during the application process, there are additional requirements that make most incoming freshmen ineligible for the card.

Fraud prevention and recovery methods are extremely unsound.

This bank stinks. It's the bank inside CSU, a self-proclaimed "Community Bank" (Ha!), but it doesn't actually support CSU students. My son requested a $300 line of credit for overdraft protection. He is 19 and has no credit history. Nothing bad, just no history. Very normal for a freshman. The bank wouldn't extend itself. Really? A $300 bootstrap? Too much risk? Meanwhile T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T will take a chance on him. CSU, kick them out!!! A representative told me "our bank is very conservative". Dah! Then cater to rich people, not college students. Get off campus ! I also found them back dating a deposit. To some this may seem fine, but I find it unethical. A deposit was made June 1, but it never showed up in his online account. On June 2 it showed up, but dated as June 1. The money wasn't available to him June 1 when he needed it.
