Predatory business practices, plan to spend over $250 to end your membership. Not open at 5:00 am or any advertised opening time. Sat watching the building's employees try and figure out how to get into the building on multiple occasions for over a half an hour.

Good gym, I enjoy working out here. Pretty good selection of equipment and weights. The drawbacks: showers are nasty. Mold and mildew growing. I refuse to shower here.Kids club hours are not accurate on the website and management changes it without posting notice, so sometimes we lose out on a workout because we show up during previously posted hours. This is frustrating.

We have lived in Fort Collins for one year post. My husband and I am very athletic and active. We research visited and looked for so many gyms to join, while there are so many great gyms for different audiences. Here are the reasons why we love so much Genesis it’s a big gym that has everything you need and more. What are the big beautiful climbing wall and it has any class you can possibly think of the best part of it is the team the crew they’re super nice super flexible always willing and always welcoming and extremely knowledgeable at every aspect of sports, plus they care so much about building a great community. Whatever it’s family adult youth climbers, and people who care about health

Just signed up today! Nice gym with very clean environment and equipment. It is not super crowded either, which makes it a plus!

I’ve been a member of this club since the year 2000. It’s always been a comfortable environment and a great gym for all of my exercise and training needs over the years. I’ve been to every gym and work out facility in Fort Collins and this location by far has the best weight room. The cardio area is OK and there is a pretty cool smaller workout room with turf. The Crossfit area is huge and took the place of what used to be a full length basketball court back in the 90s and early 2000s. There’s also an incredible climbing, gym here and climbing wall with bouldering top ropes and safety ropes for individual climbing. Overall, this is simply a great place to work out with a great friendly and helpful staff.

I've been going to this gym off and on for 17yrs. While it did gradually go down hill a little over the years, since it became "genesis" its awful. Equipment doesn't get serviced, the staff are all awkward college kids, and the HVAC system is garbage.

I have been a member of this club for several years on and off. After coming in to cancel my membership when I asked what was the reason for my cancel, I replied, “I was going with another, gym,” the person at the front desk laughed. Then they went and got my paperwork. I normally wouldn’t write a bad review however, due to the unprofessional customer service, I feel compelled to let people know to steer clear. I was also told that I would have to pay another billing cycle which means when canceling on August 7 my membership won’t be canceled until after I pay another months dues in September. After contacting headquarters about the unprofessional service, Nothing was done to remedy the ridiculous "30 day notice" even after the extreme unprofessionalism.

Really enjoyed working out at this facility, however DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE. You will be SCAMED. After being a member for two years, I got an unexpected offer to go to Europe for 4 months. I let the gym know if I could pause or cancel the membership for those months and I would rerun in September. They said that they could do that however they need a 30 day notice and I would still be charged for the entire month of June, even though I left in May and told them May 15th I would be needing this. I would have absolutely kept being a member for years to come as I’m only away for 4 months, when I return now I will be working out at Alive! Looks like they got my $50 but lost thousands as I would’ve remained a member for years and years.Genesis is all about profits and they do not care about building relationships with their members, the customers that allow them to stay in business. I would highly recommend going to a different gym in Fort Collins.

I joined this gym because of the amazing quality of the climbing gym. I am continually impressed by the quality of the setting and how often routes are changed out with nice holds. Thanks to all the setters who are working hard to offer an awesome experience above some local climbing only gyms. Super thankful to have this AND all the other gym amenities too!

I can go here everyday and have a good workout. The staff is super friendly and willing to help out whenever necessary. My favorite part of the north location is it’s hardly ever busy which makes it super easy to find the right machine for your workout

This gym is one of the best gyms that I’ve been to. The amount of machines that they have and the variety is one of the best things at this gym. The best part of this gym is how it’s hardly ever busy.

Cons: Equipment is not being maintained well and has torn seats, missing handle pads, broken barbell clamps, etc. Upper management has never addressed written or emailed feedback. For example, I’ve been asking to get the Olympic Rings leveled for the past two years. They have lots of distracting TVs in front of the cardio that show divisive politics content, not a good way to escape from daily life. The membership is more expensive than most of the smaller and better gyms around town. Pros: It’s in a large open space, climbing wall, and the staff are friendly.
