Gryphon Games and Comics is a great place for people who like D&D and other fantasy games, as well as comics, graphic novels, Pokemon cards, and board games. It is considered the best place in town to find these items and nerdy gifts. The store itself is incredible, with a new location that features a cafe and multiple rooms that can be rented for space or used for tabletop games and gatherings. Seating is plentiful and comfortable, the environment is quiet, and there is free WiFi. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, creating an open community that makes it a home away from home for many. They happily teach games and offer board games for rent. There are always fun activities happening, especially on weekends, including weekly D&D sessions. The store is noted for having great prices and plenty of comic back issues. However, the cafe receives mixed feedback. While some note a well-stocked salad bar, potato bar, good meat selection, and delicious breads and desserts, others find the coffee counter staff a little rude or condescending. Criticisms include a lack of healthy food options, with everything containing fat and carbs and no veggies on the menu, and some items not matching their descriptions. Despite this, the store remains highly recommended for serious gamers and comic readers or casual visitors looking for a gift or new activity.
I was looking for comic back issues, and found plenty of what I needed here. Great prices, some of the best in central Colorado. Came back a second time to take advantage of their massive sale! Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area!

They were so many options! Salad bar was super stocked had a little bit of everything. The potato bar had something for everyone and the meat selection was a good amount of meats. There were breads and desserts also that were delicious!
