First off this bank is useless my acct when checked says it fine iand open I checked the letters mailed thru online banking app and never said yn acct was closed well my tax return hit and was bounced back your bank is all but useless how are you even still running how are you not going to call someone send letters any of that and still show my acct open online when I call you tell ite open but it's not open wtf does that even mean

Needed to open an account and did not realize that the lobby hours have been shortened due to covid. Not a problem! The staff made an accommodation and allowed me to meet in person to get done what I needed to accomplish today. Extremely courteous, cheerful, fun staff. Very pleasant to work with. And very efficient. I was done and out in minutes. This bank "gets it". Its all about the customer. They are prepared to earn your business. Give Independent Financial an opportunity!

There’s only one person at this location that’s even remotely helpful. The turnover rate here is high as well. Something needs to change so it’s not a burden to have to go talk to the “bank tellers”

*infomercial*Do you want a bank that shuts down your card every time a purchase is made? How about no 24 hour service to fix that? What if I told you that you get to wait all weekend sometimes to get access to your money! Then independent financial is the right bank for you! Forget about mobile deposit and easy access to your money and join the WORLD'S SAFEST BANK! Don't you worry, every single time you swipe your card twice, try to buy something online, or a subscription comes out monthly, independent financial has your back, and will completely shut down your card with no notice, call or email!!! There's no way someone else could use your card! Thank you independent financial! I've never felt safer with the money I work so hard for and want to use! I love going to the bank where everyone knows my name! I guess that's what happens when you call or go in to get your card off hold at least once a week! Wow, I am so happy that Independent Financial bought my bank!I literally have had to call them 3 times this week because they keep putting my card on hold. This happens at least once a week and I'm closing my account. Screw this bank. Everyone who works here is lovely however I think it's more important to be able to use the money that I earn.

Awesome service both locally and through customer service. They have saved us more than once from attempted fraudulent charges.The level of care I received today when processing an unusually large transaction was thorough and courteous throughout. The local branch is still as friendly and helpful as before the buyout.

Whitney is amazing! She is very helpful and has always taken good care of me and my team. Excellent service with a personal, small community feel, but also with the resources to cover all the banking bases. It's clear you aren't just a number here! It's great to have an alternative to the behemoths who are only trying to kiss your assets. Have been a customer at the Harmony branch for only about a year for both business and personal I can’t speak highly enough about the Whitney and the staff who always know my name and do everything they can to make every experience whether a deposit, opening accounts, loans or any other services, as outstanding as it can be. Highly recommend!! Their unwavering strong local support of business and community keeps me coming back and sending everyone I know who is equally as happy.

Banking with the original Home State for years. Made a rather large deposit on the first and they ripped me off of my I interest saying the third Thursday or Tuesday of the month is th ed month a didn't give me 30 days to mske my 10 debit card purchases so they could rip me off of my intrest. Home state was a calendar month forcstatements. They should've resolved when I called but instead gave me unclear monthly statement times. Yep so sad they are crooks now. So sad c
