Poor customer service. This was a highly reputable business that has severely fallen off the past couple of years. Steer clear! Not worth the risk to see if Steve likes you or not.

Steve, the owner of the shop, was highly reccommded from RockFan. Unfortunately Rockfan didn't tell me that Steve only cares about you if he thinks you have big pockets.I went in about 10 months ago to get the sliders on my Numark replaced with Harms labs. At the time Steve seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. He is neither of those things. After almost a year or giving me the runaround I started going to see Steve in person. He did not like this... Now I could see that my board was in a million peices. With no organization.Every single time I called or showed up in person Steve would say "I'll have it for you next week"The end of my story is a sad one. Steve REFUSED to put my DJ board back together in any way or even give me the parts that he "ordered" to fix them. After 10 months of a dragging me through the mud, he gave me my $800 numark DJ controller in hundreds of peices with no instructions or references to someone who actually knows what they're doing. My board is absolutely worthless now and he didn't even give me all of the original parts back since he threw some of them out. Any maniac could've ripped apart my board and given it back to me. Steve just does it professionallyPLEASE STEER CLEAR. THIS BUSINESS SET MY MUSIC CAREER BACK MONTHS PLEASE DO NOT TRUST HIM WITH ANY VALUBLES OR SENTIMENTALS THERE IS NO GARUNTEE THAT YOU WILL GET YOUR THINGS BACK IN WORKING CONDITION OR EVEN AT ALL

Turnaround was great and quality of work was exceptional. Steve checked over my turntable and had it back to me within a week, as well as built me bespoke speakers with a custom finish in under 2 week. Will return with any audio questions.

Brought my Pioneer DDJ in to fix a loose headphone jack. Should’ve been an easy job, I just don’t have the tools. I’m told to check back in two weeks. I check in, hasn’t been touched. No worries, I understand work is hectic. Well… that was 6 months ago. Still waiting.BEWARE.

awful customer service. strung my buddy along for 10 months saying he was able to fix it, just to hand it back in pieces. don’t trust this place with any of your equipment. if I could do zero stars I would.

Simple speaker upgrade and screen repair. It’s been almost a year and I’ve got 20$ speakers from Amizon -he wanted high price for btw- and still no god damn screen for my radio. Almost a year of broken parts always broken parts every single time broken parts and refuses to answer any messages unless it can make him money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. For him it’s always next week.

Amazing little business. Vintage audio repair is a dying trade so finding someone who can fix old items is few and far between. Grateful for what they are doing and so far nothing but great experiences.

Paid for a subwoofer installation that went bad after 2 years. Now i know what you might say “nothing lasts forever” but.. this installation created a electrical issue in my car that took many hours to troubleshoot, eventually i pulled the fuse on this installation and it went away. After opening this installation up i was in dismay at the wiring and unprofessional install (bare wires and poor routing) im lucky my car didn’t catch fire. Upon reaching out i was told the owner (the only person competent to answer these problems was either busy, away or not working to witch i left an urgent callback number more than 5 times over a 2 month stretch. I am now just going to have someone else look at this and charge me an arm and a leg. This is no way to run a business, something needs to change.P.s everyone has told me my sub to amp watt ratio is asinine…

Collins musicMy son and I would visit Harms and always be rewarded by a personal visit with Steve.My latest speaker purchase/gift from Harms leaves me with a smile on my face every day. delightful articulate and accurate sound.
