Always take my vehicles to Houska for wheel and tire services. All employees are professional and friendly. I do wish as a customer at the completion of the service Houska would offer a quick one on one with the technician that performed the service. Personally I always have questions and to be clear as friendly and professional the front of the house employee are they are not able to answer detailed questions of the service.Services: Tires

These folks at Houska Automotive were SO lovely ... I was 15-20 lbs. down in all my tires right before a big snowstorm. They made not one PENNY, but came right away out of the service bay and took care of me, forestalling my increasing panic. I will be returning for my tire purchases and other services. THANK YOU!Service: Tires

I was quoted for tires over the phone and decided to come in. Upon arrival the gentleman at the counter really took his time with explaining everything to us and why certain tires are better for my truck. We agreed on the tires, made an appointment paid and left.I came back the following week to my appointment, I had just washed the truck and polished the rims, because it was getting new tires.I left it and was called about 2 .5 hours later (I also got an alignment). When I picked it up the tires look good and the truck drove nicely I did notice that the rims where very dirty and had some waxy residue on them. And my windshield was super dirty. For what I paid you would think passing a rag before you are would had been considered.

I came in to Houska after being referred to by Audi and I can honestly say they took care of me better than any other dealership or car repair shop has. Highly recommend them. Ask for Ben when you go although everyone is great! Thank you!Services: Electrical repair

I received great service for my diesel sprinter van, at a very affordable rate compared to a dealership. Everyone was very professional and very knowledgeable, explaining deals about the needed repairs.Service: Transmission

Had an absolutely amazing experience with Houska! Stopped by in the middle of my coast to coast road-trip with some AC trouble. Turns out the compressor and several other parts were damaged, and if I had continued on my car may have broken down in the middle of Nebraska—yikes! Houska was able to take me in that day, source all parts locally, and send me on my way by early afternoon for a problem that otherwise could have taken days to sort out. So so grateful to this efficient team. They even provided shuttle service to and from my cousin’s place so I got a nice hike in while they serviced my car :) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

I have always been very happy with the service I receive at Houska. I've taken several cars there over the years and have never been disappointed. At a recent visit, the mechanic broke a small part of the battery cover and did not inform me. Not a big deal. Houska has reached out to me twice to apologize and inform me that they have ordered the part and will contact me when it arrives and will replace it free of charge. I will definitely continue to take my cars to Houska in the future.

Honestly these other reviews seem like people who aren't licensed, getting mad at professionals advice. I went to Air Care before, not knowing diesel cars have specific places to get their emissions done at. The people at Air Care were rude and judgmental (I understand I was at the wrong place, but that's no way to treat a passerby). I immediately called this place and they were super kind and friendly, as well as super efficient getting everything set up. Everyone in the offices are super kind and helpful, even when I accidentally parked and came in through the incorrect entrance. Super kind service, and as a first time customer, I will be coming back in annually.

Outstanding service. I had my oil changed and tires rotated at Houska. They were fast, it was a good price, and they left a list of items with costs associated that I could replace in future. I was able to look over the list at my convenience and plan accordingly.Services: Tire rotations

The his place has been phenomenal for me. They have went above and beyond to assist us. Not once, but twice. We rented a vehicle from Enterprise in Waukee, IA. Right after leaving we noticed it had a slow leak in the front passenger side tire. We were headed for vacation in Red Feather Lakes. Enterprise couldn't find a vehicle to swap so we had to keep dealing with the leak. Finally they said we could take it to any tire center. We called a few on Friday and Houska said they would fit us in. They found a nail in the front tire.We were back on the road.Well over the Labor Day weekend we had a flat in the driver rear. We had to put the spare on. No place to get it repaired until Tuesday. No appointment. We decided to just return to Houska early Tuesday morning and see if they could help again. They said they would get us right in. They had a full lot of cars needing service. They would work to squeeze us in since we would need to wait. That's pretty epic service these days. The staff is so friendly and nice. I worked with Travis on both issues. They recommend replacing all four tires as they were mismatched and had low tread depth. We have an appointment at 3 PM and hopefully after replacing the tires we will be able to put the tire issues behind us and enjoy vacation. Thank You Travis and The Houska Tire Team!

Terrible place to take a Tesla or seemingly any vehicle. Worked with Ben, they received my car on a scheduled date and had my car for 5 weeks and replaced one wheel that took them a few days to receive from Denver. They couldn't source an unrelated steering part that was available at the dealership - they told me to take it there. They continuously refused that there was any damage to the rear driver wheel. After putting air in one my new 4 tires everyday for a week I knew something was off. Took it back to Firestone (source for new tires) where they diagnosed the cracked wheel and put a chalk line (couldn’t source there and other issues required a repair shop) so I took it to Houska who said they could repair all those things. Weeks of conversations. Still they said no leak ?♂️ I had to take off work and go show them the videos I took. He said they’d look at it. Finally he called and said obviously - “there’s a leak” he was ordering the wheel from Denver. Repair was completed - I showed up about 20 mins after they closed and my car was sitting outside as planned. What was surprising is the extensive cracking on my windshield and bubbling on my cluster panel. Cluster panel not fixed but obviously needs it. Windshield cracked bad. We had hail during the time my car was there and when I asked further he said that it was left outside. He then asked me to bring it back for them to diagnose it… can’t say id ever leave my car there again. In case y’all’s email “still isn’t receiving the videos or pictures” from when I tried to send the content on the wheel. The last ones are taken 6/24 prior to taking it in. I would also like you to check my intake form to see I indeed requested the old parts (my property) to be kept. Don’t see old wheel in trunk. It was my hope that you would take those check in tickets seriously for one I noted the bubbling on the cluster panel to be replaced and two- that’s an expensive wheel I could potentially repair enough to use as a spare and I marked it as such on your form. Overall - very disappointing for a place so well reviewed.Services: Steering & suspension replacement

We worked with Vince on a camper conversion. He was absolutely wonderful to work with on this project! We live in MA, while the vehicle was getting repairs and waiting for pickup in CO. Vince was so helpful and communicative. Houska Automotive did beautiful work on the front end and brakes of our vehicle, despite having a lot of trouble finding parts. The prices were reasonable/going rate. The work done was top notch. 10/10 would recommend them! Thank you especially to Vince for being so helpful and giving great advice every step of the way! The camper is now safely home in MA and just passed inspection. :)Services: Transmission

My Mazda has over 200k miles and I'm hoping it'll last another thousand. Houska has done a great job with repairs and maintenance giving me confidence it'll keep going longer. They're support team has given me loaner cars and run diagnostics quickly when I've needed it. I've made price comparisons online for a few things and it seems their pricing structure is honest. They're a team to trust.

Travis at the front desk is really nice! The other guys are professional but not as friendly or nice explaining things. I got my oil changed recently and I was surprised they didn’t top off my fluids also. They’re usually very fast and I love the itemized descriptions of services. Travis also matched a price I was quoted originally which was nice!

In July, my wife and I bought a used RV for our 14u travel baseball team. Friends of ours suggested we take it to Houska Automotive to have it inspected and repaired if needed. We had a scheduled appointment for July 14.We spent a little over $600 for what we feel was a relatively short amount of time they had our RV (about 3-4 hours max.). The work was completed by Tyler W and Dylan. Supposedly, our RV only needed battery terminals replaced and an oil change, no other suggestions were offered. My wife picked up the vehicle and unfortunately, is not experienced on what to look for nor the sounds that should NOT be coming from an engine.Upon bringing our RV back home, it sat for about 14 days or so before starting it up and discovering Check Engine Light. We reached out to another mechanic for help as we felt the work completed by Houska was the reason the Check Engine light existed. They found the following concerns:--Vacuum line was disconnected – this is what caused the Check Engine light--Upon looking at the invoice, they stated that a visual alignment inspection does NOTHING to determine if there is a problem with the alignment.--One of the replaced Battery terminals was hammered on versus being put on correctly (pried open). $187 for brand-new terminals, that look chewed up from being pounded on.--Steering Stabilizer leaking that will need attention - This WAS NOT brought to our attention.--Outer and Inner tie rods and boots were leaking that will need attention - This WAS NOT brought to our attention.--There is a transmission leak on the electrical connector (Transmission speed sensor). This WAS NOT brought to our attention. Our mechanic was grateful we did not drive our baseball team to a tournament; we would have easily broken down on the way and more extensive damage would have been done. Imagine (12) 14-year-old boys missing their first baseball tournament of the fall because Houska’s work was faulty.Needless to say, we won't be returning to Houska with our RV, let alone our small fleet of other vehicles. In a nutshell, we paid over $600 for an oil change and battery terminals that were hammered on. I would not advise anyone with an RV to take their unit to Houska’s. They DO NOT provide quality work and get vehicles in and out as fast as possible. They will take advantage of people that put their trust in them. BEWARE.
