I've been taking cars to Scott for 10+ years now (probably have an old 5 star review on here somewhere). Recently took a new car in for a paint correction and ceramic coating. Noticed noticeable machine marring marks on a couple panels afterwards. Took the car back to be corrected and the marring is still there afterwards. Unfortunately I feel the quality of the work Scott is letting out the door has diminished to the point where I can no longer recommend his shop. I'll have to take the vehicle to another shop to get fixed correctly, unfortunately.

I made an appointment with Scott (the owner) over the phone and was very optimistic, considering the reasonable prices, other 5 star reviews and his level of professionalism on the phone. However, the day my SUV was detailed he was out of town and one of his employees detailed the car.I wanted an inside-only detailing, considering we have young kids and two dogs and it just needed to be cleaned very well. I told him I wanted the highest amount of deep cleaning they offered and I was willing to pay (prices seemed very fair, considering). However, when I picked up the car it didn’t take long before I found several areas that were never even touched! Starting with the spaces between the driver and passenger seats and the center console - completely missed and both stuck out like a sore thumb with food crumbs, tic tacs and dog hair just blatantly left there. So naturally, I went looking for more spots and found that all the cubbies in the rear (door handles, cup holders, storage in the back of the center console) hadn’t even been vacuumed or wiped out. The pockets behind both driver and passenger seats were never vacuumed out and the glove box compartment was also untouched. The employee told me they don’t ever clean glove boxes, because most customers have all their paperwork in there, but it was frustrating to hear because I COMPLETELY emptied out my car beforehand, including all paperwork and all compartments. By itself, the missed glove box wouldn’t have been a big deal, but at that point it was the icing on the cake to a long list of missed spots. Basically, if I looked at the car and ignored the areas that were never cleaned, it was just okay. The carpets were shampooed and most things were vacuumed, but there was zero “wow factor” when I looked inside for the first time.It pains me to leave a negative review for a local small business, considering the many other positives reviews. However, it was clear that this employee who cleaned my car didn’t put his full attention into his work. Once I politely confronted him about it, he did attempt to fix it, but I had to self-direct him to each spot that was missed, as it didn’t seem to intuitive to him which spots needed attention. All the while, my wife and three very young kids were waiting in my other car while these mistakes were being fixed. Again, it’s frustrating because I would have paid much more money if the job would have been over the top the first time. Sadly, I won’t be coming back to get my car cleaned here again.

Seriously the best shop out there! Super nice guys who do great work, at reasonable prices, and will do whatever they can to get you in as quickly as possible. This is truly a small business that cares about their customers and I will definitely be back again!

I had my car ceramic coated at Innovative Auto in Fort Collins, and I'm so glad I did! I bought a four-year-old used car with some dulling and visible swirls patterns in the clear coating. The car looks and feels amazing now. It's so smooth and shiny, and it just glides through the water when it rains. I'm also really impressed with the durability of the coating. It's been a few months now, and my car still looks brand new.The phone, manager, and detailer staff at Innovative Auto were all great to work with. Ok, they were all Scott, but he was always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Not sure if his name is spelt with one letter t, or two. I am going with two since he wears so many hats. Scott took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I was happy with the results.I would recommend Innovative Auto to anyone looking for a ceramic coating for their car. I had some deep scratches on my new SUV and stopped by Innovative Auto and Scott was able to get me in the next day. I was not sure he would be able to get the scratches out and he did to my surprise. I was blown away. It is hard to say enough good things about Scott. He is honest, responsive and he takes pride in his work. A combination that is hard to find these days. He buffed out some scratches and ceramic coated my car. He even touched up an interior coating that the dealer put on the car in a haphazard way. 100% recommend him.Service: Auto detailing

Scott and his business associates do great work at reasonable prices. I've had Scott work on several different vehicles and each time he has shown his determination to deliver a quality, nearly flawless product. With the sand and rocks used during the Colorado winters, I saw my hood get dinged up bad my first winter here. It got so bad, I had to have it repainted. After finding Innovative Auto, I had paint protective film and ceramic coatings put on all my vehicles. Not only have I not had an issue with the rocks since, my cars shine and look much better year-round now. When I called around for pricing, I found Innovative Auto to be among the top few shops in northern Colorado who used reputable paint protective film and charged reasonable prices. Originally, I was going to have the entire vehicle wrapped in xpel protective film but Scott showed me the downsides with that for my particular vehicle. How many business owners do you know who will talk a customer out of spending more money in order to deliver the best result? Instead of utilizing all protective film, we went with a mix of PPF and ceramic coating. Scott performed paint correction and ceramic coating, producing a nice glossy look and adding a layer of protection against scratches and dings. To maintain quality, he showed how he stays up to date on new products and only uses the best. For instance, when I researched ceramic coatings I learned as much as I could about different brands and which offered the hardest coating for protection. Then I had Scott do the coating and he was using a product with a harder rating than I knew existed. It still looks great a year later. I also had him redo some tint that another shop messed up. I couldn't be happier with the result. The only service offering here which I haven't used is the paint-less dent repair. I've talked to the dent repair guy many times and he seems like a great guy. A hailstorm did damage one of my cars and I got a quote from him which came in at about half of what the insurance-associated body shop wanted. However, I opted for the cash insurance payout and left the car as is. Considering price and quality, there's not another shop in town I will use for car detailing and paint protection.

Absolutely love this place! Great service & even better people work here. Scott was very knowledgeable & worked with me to get me exactly what I was looking for. The prices here are also hard to beat, I even had a friend come up from Denver to come here! They did a ceramic coating & window tinting for my 4Runner & I couldn’t be happier with the results. Everything came out great & a year later, everything is still holding up & looking great!Really can’t say enough good things about this shop! Thanks Scott!

Phenomenal service. Scott was there to greet me when I first walked in, and handled everything from start to finish. Very professional, kind, and prompt. We've had our car for 8 years and never had the interior detailed. It looked embarrassing inside, but in a few short hours Scott made it like new again. He even washed the outside because he had the pressure washer out for another vehicle and just decided to do it. I was seriously shocked at how much better our car looked and smelled inside. 10/10 recommend, and I won't wait nearly as long to get my car detailed again.
