My tax preparer was really amazing and patient, we went through everything since single possible avenue to make sure I got the most back on my taxes as possible, especially since last year all I had was social security income.

Whatever you do make sure you ask him about their fees and how much it's going to cost you it cost me about 1% of my total income for that year to do my taxes with these people it's highway robbery

I did my own taxes through the internet last year with tax slayer it cost me 69 dollars and about 5 min it was a online guided through and checked by thier pros..it was pretty simple and hassel free and since i had enough to pay for it a head of time they just did dierect deposit through my bank. This year i decided since i need money right now to pay past due bills i would use one of those tax services that offer a advance on your refund so i could rest easy so i went to jakson Hewitt cause they offer it. my wife went to H&R Block where she got a advance before she left the bulding .well after jackson hewwit did my taxes witch was 165 dollars and 49 dollars for a card that they put your refund on and youget your advance on .and a hour or better it took them to do my taxes.they then informed me that i could not get a advance on my refund reason being that i only had unemployment and i should of worked if i wanted a advance (mind you my wife worked the same as i did ) they did say i could cancel for 35 dollars which they would have to with draw my refund from the IRS and that would throw a flag with them so when i did them another way it would take twice a long to get them back. I paid them like 240 dollars for nothing .when i could of done it my self hassel free and next to nothing the moral of this review is dont use jackson hewitt they will lie and isult you and charge you for them doing it . I should of followevd my wifes advise and used H&R Block at least they do what they say ..
