My move was a nightmare, but the worst part was the customer service. I had to fight for two months to find out why I was over-charged. I then had to deal with claims (insurance paid), who denied the damage to my home and my missing vacuum cleaner. Thus, I’m 3 months into trying to be heard by this company, who doesn’t seem to care about their customers, unlike what is stated on their website, that they provide a stress-free move. It’s been nothing but stress.

I recently had the pleasure of using this company for my recent move here to Colorado and had an awesome experience. The movers were efficient, accommodating, and hard working. They expertly moved my belongings with minimum damage and highly recommend them for your moving needs.

We contacted this company to receive moving quotes from Colorado to Virginia. We were provided with two quotes, one for a traditional move and one for a snap container move. We were then asked which move we preferred. We said we only want a traditional move and were fine with paying more to receive that service. The moving company changed our move, without our knowledge or consent, to a snap container move, which is $600+ less than a traditional move. They refuse to compensate us for the difference in price. Stay away from this business. We have found them to be dishonest, disrespectful, and unwilling to do what is right. They worked hard to try to hide the fact that they provided us with a lower-cost service! Poor ethics, indeed.

The movers who unloaded our items also damaged the floor and wall of the home we moved into that is only 1 year old. They did not inform us they knicked the wall, either. Very unprofessional.

Sales team-Greg- couldn't be better. Chrissy was a rockstar of Impressiveness: Secure nice dates/schedules sooner. Less than two weeks stresses people out.
**Move in team needs to own up to damage and not hide it behind boxes.
**Claim process is slow. We had only 10 things we're actually claiming, just pay what you owe on the order or we'll add all the damage we had fixed.
**Need a better process with box bingo. I just checked off all boxes were received because I couldn't do it any longer. Totally ineffective. **Having move in staff that can speak English would be helpful. It was difficult communicating with staff at move in.

I regret to say that my experience with Johnson Storage & Moving Company fell far short of expectations, especially given their high pricing compared to competitors. I assumed the higher cost would guarantee premium service, but this has not been the case.Initially, I wasn't even provided with a transit time for my move to Hawaii. It was only after pressing the company for details that I was told it would be between 21-35 days. As the days ticked by, however, I was informed that the delivery might take up to 45 days. After lodging a formal complaint, they managed to bring it down to 31 days, but the delay was still beyond what could be considered reasonable.Adding insult to injury, I made multiple attempts to speak with the agent responsible for my move, requesting callbacks on several occasions. None of my requests were honored, leaving me frustrated and without crucial information. I only got answers after writing directly to the VP!When my belongings finally arrived, they were merely dropped off at my doorstep without the unpacking assistance that I had paid for. This was an incomplete service, and given the premium price, it felt like a breach of our agreement.In summary, my experience with Johnson Storage & Moving Company has been extremely disappointing, marked by poor planning, a lack of communication, and incomplete service. The premium price did not translate into premium service, and I cannot, in good faith, recommend this company to others.PS: the movers that initially came to pack my things were really nice and efficient

Mary did a great job coordinating our move and was very responsive! The movers were very professional, fast, and careful with our furniture and house.I would highly recommend Johnson Storage & Moving!
