The team at Joseph's continues to be the best. I was in a real pickle a few hours ago and couldn't leave my house. They not only delivered to my house. I'm just 1.5 miles away from the store but they picked up on my urgent need and had my items to me in about 15 minutes. They really saved me! Thanks

Grateful to have Joseph's in our neighborhood. They have helped me fix countless repairs and you can get just the right part you need. This is how a hardware store is supposed to be!

This is the closest hardware store to my house, and I've often gone there when I need something to repair our house. It is excellent if what you need is paint or garden equipment, but plumbing is a nightmare. If you have a challenging situation, save yourself the antagonism, and go somewhere else.Today was the third time I've been to the store in the past few years for plumbing parts and/or help. Today, I went for some sink drain parts since the existing weirdness finally gave out. The plumbing clerk is on an iPad and does her thing that way. In person, her listening skills aren't great (on a previous visit, I needed a replacement valve for my sprinkler system, which I ended up buying via Amazon. She wanted me to buy four valves there, which would require re-plumbing my system), and via the iPad, they are worse. After telling me she had the phone number of a plumber and told me to buy some paper plates.I went up front, and I asked for the owner. The two people at the registers both did the "I'm a manager" thing, and one of them told me to go home and take pictures and come back so that he can help me. I left. The other employee followed me out, and told me the owner was in the back (who neither employee thought enough of my patronage to contact).Last summer, I needed a rebuild kit for a Woodford freeze-proof outdoor faucet. I had the model number and a picture of it, and I had looked up the rebuild parts kit and that part number. There are thousands of these installed in the '70s & '80s within a few miles of the store, so I expected the store would have a kit, or knowledge of appropriate parts. The fellow helping me went off on a tirade that I needed to know "what size washer I need, or I can't help you." So I went home and ordered the kit from Amazon. My father and grandfather both ran retail businesses, and I'd love to shop local and support the little guys in town, but it's really hard to do this when the help isn't helpful (and obnoxious to boot).

If I could give Joseph's Hardware 10 stars, I would! I came in today to get some parts to connect my dishwasher under my sink. This was my first time ever working on plumbing. Before I came into the store, I was feeling pretty intimidated and frustrated and was about ready to give up and call a plumber. The associates were all super nice and Kate Curtis completely turned my day around. She helped me figure out what I needed and gave me super detailed info on what steps to take and how to avoid leaks. Thanks to Kate's help I was able to get the job done myself. THANK YOU!

I love going there with my little dog Zeke. We love just snooping around to find something else new there. Plus he just loves Aktis who works there.

Joseph’s hardware is truly anything and everything I could ever want at a hardware store. Their employees feel like family, whether or not they know it. They are the father I never got to have there. They are caring, kind, compassionate, patient and helpful. I want to invite everyone of their employees to Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they all deserve Father’s Day cards. (Regardless of gender)They never make me feel stupid, even when I clearly have no idea what I am doing. This is a good group of people. I want to add Joseph’s hardware into my will. (Probably won’t though)

I went to Josephs' the first time yesterday, and it was a great experience! Before going in, I reached out to one of the employees, Matt, to inquire about a project, and he responded promptly with helpful info. When I got to the store, he helped me carry in my project materials and included me throughout the whole process of prepping what I needed for my project. He invited me into their workshop to confirm measurements for crossbars that I needed, and he went over various options for final measurements we could cut and the price points.I really appreciate him taking the time to help me think through my whole shopping list (confirming recommendations for each item), and I'm excited to use Josephs' in the future! Thanks again, team!

In general this hardware store is convenient with pretty good customer service. Unfortunately regarding rescreening patio door they get an “F”. I was told the screen would be done by the end of the following week (a Friday or Saturday), and that I would be called. The following Sunday I call to be told it’s on the table and will be completed by end of day. No call. Monday, no call. I call Tuesday at 3:30 to be told it’s leaning up on the table to be done yet no time frame given. The lady who told me on Sunday it would be done really should be criticized for either misleading the customer or simply lying to placate the customer. Bottom line a VERY DISAPPOINTING zero stars regarding customer service of a simple straightforward patio slider rescreen job.

If I could give 25 stars I would. I can not say enough amazing things about Joseph’s Hardware! Everyone is incredibly helpful, especially Kate who’s an expert at all things plumbing. I’ve had an issue with my shower / tub and she was so kind to text, call, and walk me through the process of what I needed. I told her I’d be back at the store in 20 minutes to get the parts she suggested, when I walked into the store they had the parts ready for me at the checkout. If you want one on one service with folks who actually want to help you out, this is the place to go!

I was working on a plumbing issue, where I had water backflowing through the drain vent under my kitchen sink. I had already tried a 25ft drain auger tool, with very limited success. I discussed the issue with the staff there, and they suggested a different approach, using the "Insta-Flo" product to clear the drain. It worked perfect, ZERO gurgling from vent (which indicates a partial obstruction). Thank you Matt, Kate and staff - you saved me from going down the wrong path to fix.

Good store. Had two things to get, one was difficult to find, the other wasn't there. The first was a bolt. The bolt area felt a bit unorganized. The other one was a tap for the hole, but in the section with taps, the size needed wasn't there. Ended up ordering it online.
