Karate West, Inc. has been serving Fort Collins since 1978, offering martial arts classes for kids, teens, and adults aged 4 and up. Based on Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, the school features a diverse curriculum that includes Okinawan and Filipino weapons work, along with training in Muay Thai, western boxing, Jun Fan Gung Fu, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. All instructors are Black Belts, with Mr. Yee holding a 7th Dan in TKD and a 2nd degree Black Belt in BJJ, while Mrs. Yee is a 6th Dan in TKD. The school emphasizes self-discipline, self-defense, and morals in every lesson, fostering respect and ethics among students. Visitors and students alike note the welcoming, friendly atmosphere and the respect shared between students and instructors. The school also has a well-stocked pro-shop selling martial arts equipment, uniforms, and supplies. Overall, Karate West is highly trusted, providing a positive environment where students display control, respect, and dedication.
Karate West is a great outlet for my kids to learn self discipline as well as self defense. The fact that they sprinkle in morals and ethics into every lesson is a big bonus too. I would highly recommend Karate West.

As a grandparent, watching our grandson promote his belt,and watching the the Demo teams,knowingly they work just as hard to show,and display such beautiful control physically and mentally of their surroundings and own bodies. Am so proud of all these young people learning respect for all.Thank you
