Originally brought my Tacoma to get the head gaskets replaced. Angelo was transparent about the price from the very beginning and I felt totally confident in this shop from my first interaction with him. Ended up replacing both heads which is a big job but they got it done fairly quick and were very thorough with the test drives before returning the vehicle to me. This shop will be very honest with you about what work needs to be done and is without a doubt one of the cheaper places in town without comprising on quality of work. After my experience with Angelo I’d absolutely recommend this shop to anyone.

Angelo is the best! I have been taking my car to him for years and am always very pleased with the service. He’s an honest mechanic who doesn’t try to rip you off. The only mechanic I trust completely can’t recommend him enough!

I was referred to Angelo by some friends who used him forever and swore they're great, and they are! They, both Angelo and Angel are terrific and my car has never run better. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Have been coming to On the Side Automotive since I got my first car, 15 years ago. I no longer live in Fort Collins but will still drive an hour out of my way whenever I need any work done because I trust their quality of service, experience, honesty and fair pricing far above any other shop I’ve been to. Couldn’t recommend more.

Absolutely love this place! I don’t like thinking that as a woman places just think they can screw me over but unfortunately that’s how it goes. But these guys are completely honest and so nice to work with. Unfortunately I’ll be moving soon and won’t be using them anymore, however I highly recommend them! They know what they are doing and their prices are fair!

When my mechanic of many years shut down his business, Angelo fit me in to his busy schedule within a matter of days and did the head gasket replacement on my 2003 Forester for a fair price and within his estimated time frame. And then when the new oil pressure sensor that he installed failed and started spraying oil all over the engine he fixed it within hours for no additional cost even though it wasn't his fault. This is great service above and beyond the norm, and I will be recommending On The Side to my friends.

Most honest and fair-priced mechanic in Larimer County! He knows Subies and has the patience of a saint. I am very very dumb when it comes to anything concerning cars, so his knowledge and expertise made me feel at ease. I noticed in his office that he has small business awards, which are well-deserved. I won't trust anyone else with major engine repair jobs and will be consistently using his services.

Been having my subaru's worked on by Angelo for almost 30 years now and genuine awesomeness!!!....are the first two words that come to mind for both he and Angels work and service.
