This is a nice locally owned gun shop. You will always get great personal service and advise. I have purchased quite a few firearms and accessories at PM guns. All at a good competitive price. If you feel "lost in the crowd" or hurried at other guns shops in our area, stop by and visit with Pat and Jacki. As a plus Pat is an expert gunsmith.

Not new comer friendly. There was a lot of reluctance and annoyance from some of the staff from my presence. I was handed a card and told that I could take that with me before I had the chance to ask more questions with the subtle implication of being unwelcome there. I felt bullied and disrespected and I’ll just be going to a big box store next time.3/7/24Thanks for your response. I’ve gone to liberty firearms institute for my purchase and it was a world of difference with experience. I was guided through every detail with the firearm and was shown the appropriate etiquette on owning another firearm.I was met with ZERO judgement or ego there. They were incredibly friendly, patient, nonjudgmental, welcoming, and empowering. I hear your concern for people entering the sport or hobby and making sure they are prepared and appropriately educated. I’d highly encourage you to take a more humble approach when someone walks in and says they are new and take the time to listen. I walked out of liberty firearms institute with a massive smile and I feel like I’ve been introduced to a new world of learning and opportunities.Unfortunately, I understand this may be impactful toward your business, and I wish I could have earned your business to begin with - hence why I walked through your doors. It is likely going to be in your best interest to examine your approach with newcomers as walking into a gun shop for one of the first times is incredibly intimidating and daunting, the last thing one wants to be met with is judgement. Thanks

The whole staff is incredibly helpful at finding what you need. I had to deal with a return of an Aero Precision upper and Jackie took care of everything and made the process very smooth even through complications on the sellers end! Can’t recommend this gun store enough!

I usually dread going into gun stores and try and shop online as much as possible. It’s always hit or miss on the level of service you receive, and you never know who’s ripping you off. However, today I stumbled on a real gem in the community. From the moment I walked in, Mike was extremely welcoming and was happy to answer any questions I had. Other places treat you like an inconvenience when you start asking questions, but Mike was patient, professional, and I knew I could trust his opinion. I wasn’t actually planning on purchasing anything when I went in, but I couldn’t leave empty handed after the level of service I received there. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone local in the area. They will take care of you

Stopped at P.M. because of a concern I had with one of my sidearms. I went in with the expectation of needing to order a part to resolve, but I wanted an expert to take a look to verify. P.M. took an extensive look at my sidearm, broke it down, inspected, and gave me assurance that the piece I was concerned about was not a concern, explaining the functionality of the minute part and why it would continue to function. Long story short, I was convinced and was happy to NOT need to place an order or begin a lengthy repair.I stuck around to see what they had in stock as I have been on the hunt for a specific 9mm that had no luck finding in the area. I didn’t see it, or the standard version so I asked if they had seen or had previously carried the sidearm I was looking for…. They found it in minutes, printed a quote for me, and kindly said here is pricing if you decide to come back and order. I hovered around because I was contemplating right then and there, they noticed and chuckled telling me no pressure and to think about it at home. I had been looking for this very specific version for months so I asked to order. I paid within minutes and a day and a half later, It arrived. These folks were so welcoming and kind. Not to say that other shops aren’t welcoming, but go in and talk to these folks, if you’re like me, you’ll think to yourself that this is the type of business that you want to buy from, great people with great character. It’s been more than a decade and a few states since I’ve called a gun shop “my shop”; these are those type of folks.

A very small and old world feeling gun store. That's not an insult, it's a compliment. A small group of friendly staff who are more than willing to help you with whatever they can and chat with customers. I saw a few folks come in when I was there one time and the staff all knew them by name, it's that sort of place. I think I've even seen a cute gun store dog behind the counter, which is always a plus. Jackie went out of her way to help me get the brand new Glock 20 Gen 5 a few months back just a few days after they were announced. I got my gun even before the Glock site listed it as a current product. I went in on a whim and ended up with a new 10mm, very cool.

Pretty podunk and limited in what they offer. I was greeted by a woman that kind of acted like I was a bother; maybe because I was only there to take a look around as I had passed this place several times so I just wanted to check it out.I was a little shocked. Prices are generally way above market value on everything in the showcases. What little inventory they have, that is. The whole place was just very underwhelming. It has more of a pawn shop vibe than anything. Not a horrible place but there's far better gun shops around. I wouldn't waste your time here unless, like me, you just want to see it for yourself. Hopefully they don't threaten to sue me like they did for another bad review they received; that's not exactly a way to give people a warm and fuzzy. Most owners take a bad review on the chin instead of calling a lawyer.

Stoped in 2 times once was to have a scope mounted it needed drilled and taped. Was told he couldn't do it because he dose not have a drill press or mill.the other time I needed sights changed on a 1911 he said he was unable to do that as well. Not sure how you can be a gunsmith workout a mill lathe or drill press. Nothing more than a overpriced parts changer I will go elsewhere

What a wonderful tucked away gun and supplies shop. Staff is extremely helpful and willing to locate and ship firearms to their store if they are not currently carrying it. The shop may seem small but the firearm selection is beyond impressive. One of the few shops that stocks IWI weapons. Staff is easy to talk to and willing to help and answer any questions if they can. Shop dog is super cute too.

Absolutely amazing service. I wanted a very specific hand gun and almost no gun shop in Colorado had it. I finally called P.M. Guns and Patrick the owner answered and told me the gun is no longer made. Not one other gun shop told me that, amazing. What's really cool is Patrick had the gun, yeah. It takes an hour and fifteen min. to get to his shop and when I arrived I was greeted with a smile and a gun, very cool experience. Within 25 min. Patrick's wife Jacki had the background check done and processed my credit card. I needed a holster for the gun and since the gun was no longer produced Patrick recommended Longs Shadow Holster in Lafayette, which was an amazing experience since I went there the next day, Thank you so much Patrick and Jacki for the gun and the recommendation to Shadow.
