I went in for a blood draw, I think the woman doing my blood draw was named Jennifer. She was very nice but in the end there is room for improvement.
I communicated before the draw began that I have a needle phobia and that I would be using headphones to mitigate my reaction. I was also on meds to help me relax.
She tried to begin the blood draw before my headphones were even on, when I JUST said I needed them to cope with the blood draw. She then snapped at me to hold still multiple times while I was trying to very quickly place my headphones on because she was actively trying to poke me. I then couldn't get my headphones working and just had to do the draw without because I felt pressured after she had already snapped at me.
She apologized and explained she snapped because she just didn't want to get poked herself. I know she didn't mean it that way but it made me feel like it was my fault she was almost poked when your needle shouldn't be out if your patient isn't ready which she never asked if I was.
I ended up having a breakdown in my car afterwards.
I know she didn't do it on purpose which is why I am leaving two stars. I am sure for most people who don't have PTSD this type of draw is fine. It just sucks that I know I need special precautions and take time to communicate them and I got retramatized anyway.

Very unprofessional! Waited 10 minutes while the employees talked in the back- I could hear everything they were saying. Then got asked what my blood draw was for again extremely unprofessional. Highly recommend choosing another location!

Had to get a pre-employment drug test. The info in their website is incorrect for both hours and the “requirement” to get an appointment. The site says you can walk-in for this but upon arrival I was met by a hand written sign taped to a kiosk saying “no walk-ins today”. The handmade sign has clearly been there for a long time.
I did make an appointment the following day and was once again greeted by the kiosk and a sign (no staff to be found), and checked in. They were late for my appointment. They do get the test done however, the lack of staff, organization, and incorrect information on their website left me quite frustrated.

Could not be bothered. I arrived for my 7:40 appointment at opening of business as the lab said it took walk-ins and since I was fasting I wanted to try and get in sooner. Lights were still off past 7:00 when they opened, but door was open so I walked in. The woman seemed surprised that it was 7. She asked me for my appointment time and I told her was I was hoping to get in earlier. She said they don’t take walk-in’s. I then asked why does the check in screen prompt me to choose appointment or walk-in? She said, but you have an appointment. So I asked if o cancelled my appointment could I choose walk-in. She seemed confused then said we save walk-in’s for fasting, I
Told her I was fasting. She could not give me a reason she could not take me
as a walk-in. Then said she would talk to supervisor as she simply could not tell me why. Meanwhile I was the ONLY person in the office from 7-7:15…blood draw takes less than two minutes. Supervisor arrived he never said anything and she never followed up. I understand walking into a facility as a walk-in there are no guarantees, however, the lack of regard in a legit reason as to why they couldn’t take me or even a simple, we have a busy morning and if we can take you sooner, we will. I will never understand poor customer service. Lance (supervisor) couldn’t even greet me when he called me back for my draw like he had done with previous patients. My advice, DO BETTER!

I’ve been to other Quest Diagnostics locations for bloodwork, and every phlebotomist I’ve seen has been very professional and courteous. This location is a notable exception, and I’m glad that I don’t have to get blood drawn here anymore.

The phlebotomist, Lance, was extremely gentle as well as just a nice guy who made it a pleasant experience. The website for ordering the test and scheduling is a little challenging to navigate but when I got there Lance made it all work. I highly recommend going to him. He is at the Safeway location on E Harmony in Fort Collins.

We required a blood draw for my brother, who is special needs. I encountered difficulties reaching a representative at our local Quest Diagnostics and ultimately decided to contact the main customer service line. The representative I spoke with was exceptionally helpful; she arranged a Saturday appointment with Lance, allowing me to avoid missing work, and addressed all my inquiries. Later that day, Lance called to confirm the mailing method for the blood draw kit I had received. We determined that the appointment needed to be scheduled during the week for mailing reasons. He promptly arranged another appointment for us, and upon our arrival, he attended to us immediately. Lance demonstrated remarkable skill and compassion with my brother, who often struggles with procedures like blood draws. His kindness and expertise deserve recognition.

The most painless and fastest blood draw I've ever had. The person who did it was very kind and skilled. I really wish I would have asked for his name as he deserves the recognition. Either way, I am very grateful! If you need a blood draw I highly recommend making an appointment at this location!

I've been here about half a dozen times and have always had a good experience (as long as you know to make an appointment!). I think Lance has drawn my blood 4x. He's great and works quickly, even though I have small veins and am a slow bleeder. I've also seen a few other phlebotomists who were fine. Don't expect to be squeezed in last-minute but if you can plan ahead for your lab draws, this is a great option.

Great to make appointments at. Further to drive than i would prefer but worth it, especially over LabCorp. Speedy results. Great staff!

I've used this Quest lab for three years, and never had any issues. Make sure you make an appointment ahead of time, usually at least a week or two beforehand, as walk-ins aren't always taken (found that out the hard way, my bad).
