Just avoid this place if you can. They're slow. At their staff just creates problems randomly for everybody. It is overall a place I am glad I know longer have to come

I had a very good experience with a person named Olivia. I needed to find out if I could use a coupon for a prescription refill, since my insurance wasn't covering the cost because I was in the "donut hole." The coupon didn't apply because I have insurance associated with the federal government. (What a rip-off.) Olivia tried very hard to find me a good alternative. I appreciated her effort. Why only 4 stars? Just recently I had a question and spent fifteen minutes on the phone on hold and finally gave up. I know there are staffing shortages everywhere, but customer service is still, or should be, of paramount importance.

This pharmacy is terrible and unprofessional. I used their online system to book a recommended vaccine appointment for my child. The very first piece of information I had to enter was her birthdate. I got an appointment confirmation and a reminder. We got there, checked in and the person up front reviewed the information. We then waited 40 MINUTES to see someone even though we had an appointment. At that point the person giving vaccines tells me that he can’t give my daughter the vaccines that we had an appointment for because of his personal preference— he doesn’t like giving kids shots because it ends up being “too much paperwork.” WHAT? When I asked what issues might cause extra paperwork, he said one time a kid wiggled and the needle went into another kid. Seriously?! These are the people Safeway trusts to administer shots?When I called his regional manager, he said the employee would be “retrained” but was speaking condescendingly as if nothing could be done to fix a broken system that allows appointments to be made for vaccines they can’t or won’t administer.Now I have to make another appoint anywhere else to get my daughter’s vaccines, while also preparing her again to get shots. Wasted time and unprofessional behavior. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Idk everyone here is friendly enough I guess. But they’re always sooo slow and disorganized. I’ve called about my prescription before and was told they had it in stock and could fill it. Then, when I called to check in they said someone else must’ve popped up before me and I no longer could get my prescription filled because they didn’t have enough. If you tell someone you can fill their prescription then do that before you move onto the next. The worst part of it all is just the complete lack of care for their costumers, there was no apology or anything. Like, oh yeah we had that but we gave it to someone else oops oh well!

No idea what’s going on with this pharmacy, but most of the rotating staff is extremely impatient and rude. They treat you as if you’re trying to buy something trivial like desserts. Waiting on meds and no communication for a week+ is pretty common. Even if you’re a regular you’re treated as if you’re a random stranger. The kindly people working in this pharmacy have not lasted long in the year I’ve been going here, and it keeps getting worse. I’m switching pharmacies ASAP. Don’t go here unless you wanna be treated like a j*** just for wanting your meds!

They messed up my prescription and asked me to step aside while I wait for them to correct it. Ten minutes go by and they told me it was fixed and ready - but made me get back in line. The line was significantly longer than before and I proceeded to wait another 20 min to get my prescription that they messed up in the first place.

None of these people should be placed in career paths where they are responsible for ensuring that customers get their medication. It’s medication, not cookies. For anyone to be this negligent while getting paid to provide such an imperative service is nefarious. Thanks for waiting to tell me that you couldn’t fill my “ready” prescription until it was the weekend before a holiday. Now I have to wait SEVERAL days without my medication before I can even go through the arduous process of getting ahold of my doctor to send the script out to a more adequate pharmacy.From the looks of the reviews, I guess this is just how they do things? The staff should learn to be a little more empathetic and a little less incompetent.

Why is it so hard for this pharmacy to do anything on time? Be prepared to wait for at least 20 minutes for them to tell you they don't have your Rx ready and you'll have to wait another 30 minutes. This place reminds me of the DMV in Zootopia. There is zero sense of urgency. 0/10 don't recommend, especially if you're there for anxiety medication, at this point I'm just not gonna take my meds and roll the dice with my mental health.

I have been using this pharmacy for several years and they have been great. However, over the last 6mths or so it has been a truly horrible experience. I had one prescription that I called in and waited almost 2 weeks before calling to check on its status, then they finally filled it. Waiting days for a prescription to be filled is now common and the lines in the store can be 20-30mins long at times.

¡ We have used this pharmacy for 25 yrs & loved the relationship. For the last few months, it’s become a sh—show! They do not answer their phones, the lines are 15 people deep ( or more) & they don’t give a rip about customer service. I had to postpone an overseas trip because they couldn’t get my vital meds to me on time. So disappointing. I’m moving to a different pharmacy that cares.!

It’s 1:00 on a Monday have called 6 times no answer. If you go in you’ll have to wait in line at least 15 min just for them to not have your prescription ready and have to wait at least another hour. They move at the pace of sloths while they all stand behind the counter laughing with each other while the line continues to build up. Not sure if it’s an issue of needing more staff or if there’s an issue with management but clearly something is wrong. I live right by this Safeway so I’m hoping something is fixed.

Unhelpful techs who give attitude when you choose to wait instore for a prescription refill that you've been waiting on for over a week. They don't answer their phones and there is always a long line, no matter what time of day you come. Service used to be great, but has been terrible the past year or so.
