Joanne is wonderful! If you're looking for a place to get a curly cut, she's the one. She helped me understand how to properly care for my hair, didn't pressure me into buying products (but I did anyway because the reasonable prices and the way it looked when she used them in my hair). She and I were the only ones in her salon which created a calm and relaxed environment. I loved the way my hair looked after getting the Curly Expression Cut and will be coming back for a Curl Maintenance - Dry Trim n the future.

Since moving away, one of the things I miss the *most* is my incredible curly hair stylist. Finding someone who truly understands curly hair is rare, and she was honestly a once-in-a-lifetime find.
Every appointment felt like magic — she knew exactly how to work with my natural texture, cutting each curl individually with such precision and care. She didn’t just give me a haircut; she shaped my curls in a way that made them come alive. The difference in my hair after her cuts was unbelievable — more defined, bouncier, healthier-looking than I ever thought possible. And the test of a good haircut is how well it grows out. MAGIC
She also took the time to educate me about how to take care of my curls, teaching me techniques and sharing product recommendations that actually worked. I never felt rushed, and every visit felt like a collaboration where my hair was truly seen and celebrated.
Since moving, I’ve struggled to find anyone who comes close to her level of skill and passion for curly hair. If you’re lucky enough to live nearby, do yourself a favor and book with her — you’ll understand immediately why I still think about her every time I need a haircut!

Wow wow wow!! I’m blown away by Joanne!! Today I had my first curly haircut and let me tell you she is AMAZING !! She event went in depth on educating me how to take care of my curls moving forward, and what products to use. It was such a fun 1.5 hours spent with her, she is such a kind soul to be around, and I am SO happy with my hair!! If you are even slightly considering I HIGHLY recommend Joanne!!

Joanne is bar far the most talented hairstylist I have ever been to see. I saw her continuously for 5 years while I lived in Colorado, and I am having serious thoughts about buying a plane ticket from AK just to go see her and get a haircut. I have thick curly hair that can quickly turn to an example of Hagrid from Hogwarts if it is not cut correctly. Joanne is truly the only hairstylist I have even seen that made my hair look beautiful. I had her cut it above my shoulders once which typically turns my head into ball shape, but she made it look awesome. It was the hair cut I always dreamed of having. Joanne, if you are reading this. Joanne is amazing! After fighting my curls for basically my entire adult life, I booked a Deva Cut with her and now I've seen the light. She's great at educating as she cuts - now my hair looks SO much better than before and I feel like I know what I need to do in order to duplicate what she did at home. I'm so glad I found her!

Joanne is the first person other than myself to cut my hair and I have no regrets, she’s really good at making you feel very comfortable and she fixed my hair so that’s a plus :) 10/10 do recommend

Joanne has an incredible talent for revitalizing your hair!! I had some intense damage to my ends and I hadn't had a cut in about 2 years. I was nervous trying out someone new but saw her impressive certification through the rezo cut salon search, and the deva cut salon search. She even talked me through what I was doing wrong with styling my hair and how product build up was one of my biggest issues. She walked me through how to implement mousse and gel to my styling routine. She even gave me a scalp massage after giving me a clarifying treatment. It felt like heaven on my irritated scalp!! I've never seen my curls have this much bounce until now. I highly recommend her you won't be disappointed!!

I just had my hair cut/styled with Joanne and it was a GREAT experience! I never really liked my curly hair, but after she cut and styled it, it looks amazing! Joanne really knows what she is doing and I am so glad I found her! I thought I knew what I was doing...and it turned out, I was doing everything wrong! LOL! But she took the time and showed me tips and techniques to get my hair looking the best!She gets booked up fast, so if you have curly hair, you need to call asap!
