* Our dryer stopped heating up after the 3rd load on 3/22. I scheduled a tech to come out on the 23rd as I basically knew it was the heating element. The tech showed up 3 hours earlier and was finished in an hour. The element was the issue. Nikolas had the element in his truck.Seeing that the Dryer was fully opened for the element replacementI asked Nikolas if he could check the rest of the dryer mainly the belt. He told me all looked good including the belt. Dryer is working again. Thanks for the fast and courteously service Nikolas!!

I had a horrendous experience with Sears Home Appliances. While the salesman was helpful enough in selecting appliances for my needs, he was either ignorant of or hiding the fact that “supply chain” issues are significantly delaying the quoted delivery times on their products (Interestingly enough, I was able to purchase alternative items through another local retailer and they were delivered on time…go figure.)I purchased a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher in late April, with a delivery date of mid-May. The dishwasher was delivered a month late in mid-June, the refrigerator was delivered in mid-July, and as of this writing, the stove has not been delivered. To make matters worse, the refrigerator arrived broken and on multiple occasions the deliveries were simply cancelled with no notification, meaning multiple days waiting for a delivery that never came.Attempts to resolve these issues were met with slow, unhelpful customer service and zero attempts to show remorse or rectify the time and money lost as a result of their actions. I get that it’s a weird time for manufactures and distributors, but honesty doesn’t cost anything; if I wanted to be lied to, I’d just call my ex-girlfriend.TLDR: If you want to buy appliances for your unborn grandchildren, Sears is your company, but I’d recommend ordering them now so they *might* arrive in time.

Not my choice to use this company, for good reason. American Home Shield dispatched them to my rental property to look at a dryer. The technician said it needed new parts and that he would order them. I received an email that same day saying the parts were on order and they would be delivered to my property and the unit repaired approximately one month later. Around the time of that anticipated date, I had to leave the state for a family emergency. I was gone for about two weeks. When I returned, I saw my tenant and asked about the dryer. She relayed it had still not been fixed.I contacted customer service at Sears and was informed that the job had been canceled weeks prior because parts are no longer available. Sears did not notify me, nor did they notify American Home Shield. I have been paying for a rental dryer for about five weeks now. If Sears would’ve notified American Home Shield in a timely manner, I would have a new dryer by now. Again this is not my first issue with this company, they are unreliable and undependable.

Beware of ALL Sears appliances. I live in CT but purchased a nice new refrigerator less than two years ago. The $2K fridge died after less than 1.5 years, and Sears was unable to fix it, after several tries and many phone calls. I was stuck with a lemon…AND also found out many of the parts are made in foreign countries and are hard to obtain. Sears tried to bill me twice for the problem they could not fix, and on two occasions out of three, the technician was rude. Again, Beware!

Welcome to 1968. Sears here is alive and well. The Fort Collins store was clean and well stocked. No great sales. Sales staff not pushy. Many fridges, many clothes washers, 3 Huskvarna riding mowers on show room floor from about $2,600 to $3,300. Some items bore clearance tags but the clearance prices objectively did not seem good. Wide variety of manufacturers covered. Good variety of product.

Phone ordered a replacement microwave Jan 16th and was told it would be 4 weeks. It is now Mar 25 and still no microwave. No one answered the phone the six times I called . . . Thumbs Down Sears - Fort Collins branch.

This store not only had the best price on appliances that I could find, but also helped me get my washer and dryer quickly for my rental property (at a time where availability for appliances is really difficult). Steve was the associate that helped me and he was incredible! Very kind and professional. He went over the top to help me with my Sears credit card issues and was very patient through the whole process (we ran into a lot of issues that weren't his fault). I would buy my appliances from here again and again. Top rate service!

RJ contacted me and was able to arrive early. He was very pleasant, efficient, and thorough. He did a service on our washer and dryer, did some cleaning of both units and left the area spotless. I highly recommend him.

Absolutely horrible customer service. If you buy anything here, better hope you have no warranty issues. Not sure if all Sears stores are like this; but the one in Fort Collins is horrible. They lie, take advantage of senior citizens and have no sense of customer service. If all stores are like this, then Sears will be out of business very soon. Below is our story; or scroll to the bottom for a summary. NOT RECCOMENDEDMy wife and mother-in law bought a refrigerator. The first sign of bad customer service is the guy loaded the fridge in the back of the pickup, and then just left. My wife had no idea how to strap down the fridge, and the guy just shut the door and left. But the big issue was the fridge was DEFECTIVE as it would only hold one temperature - freezing. The temperature could not be adjusted to a normal fridge temperature. The warranty problem was reported and a Sears technician was scheduled to come over to the house to fix. He missed the first appointment, called to say he had car problems on the second appointment, then called to say his wife was in the hospital for the 3rd appointment.By then, 2 months had passed, so we were unable to return the fridge to this Sears. So my mother-in law calls the store in Fort Collins. "We have a replacement unit, and there is a $119 delivery charge" My mother-in law accepts and gives them her credit card information. Another month passes. Another call to Sears and we find out that this replacement fridge is not schedule for delivery until mid-August. What began with a purchase in April has now turned into a mess with with no resolution until August. My wife calls Sears corporate. "We can't do anything, our computers are down". Sear corporate does say that they will accept the return, and notify the store of the decision. We call the store a week later, and they are unaware of any directive from Corporate. Finally, I load up the fridge and return it to the Sears store in Fort Collins. I explain the dilemma to very nice lady working there. She explains there is nothing she can do, as it is being returned outside the 30 return limit, and that she cannot issue any return credit because the manager is out of town. I convince the store to take the defective fridge. The next week, I call the Sears store in Fort Collins. They state that they cannot issue a refund, that corporate has to issue the refund. We wait 2 weeks, and no refund. My wife calls Sears Corporate again. They give her a "customer care" number that turns out to be disconnect. She calls Sears Corporate a final time and gets ahold of someone there who actually cares. This person states they will escalate the issue. (which is hard to belief at this point)Finally, the Sears Store in Fort Collins calls and wants us to come by to get reimbursed. I went with my wife, as the manager (who blatantly lied to us several times) was going to issue the refund. It took maybe 10 minutes to complete the refund. The only reason we got a refund was tenacity. So here is what to expect if you buy from Sears in Fort Collins:- No help loading or securing cargo- Poor Warranty service- Take advantage of Sr. Citizens (Why would they charge a $119 delivery fee for a warranty replacement ?)- 4 months ( and still no fridge)- 5 trips to the store (we live in Loveland)- hours on the phone to Sears Corporate- Disconnected customer service numbers- Deliberately misdirect the customer when there is a warranty to allow the 30 day refund time window to expire.- If there is a problem, the store blames corporate, and corporate pins it on the store. No accountability.NOT THE SEARS I REMEMBER. Negative StarsONE LAST THING: WHY ARE THE "LOCAL GUIDES" THE ONLY ONES TO GIVE THIS STORE 5 STARS ?? And the comments are generic and canned. Not very credible.
