Meghan is a phenomenal colorist and hair stylist in every way . She has a magical way of taking your hair goals and ideas and helps them come to life ! She is intentional about everything she does, to include the selection of color, the placement and technique of foils, and how she cuts your hair that helps you feel safe in her chair and in her hands. Not to mention, she is so fun, kind and caring, which truly builds a lasting relationship with her clients. I have been going to her for years and won’t go back ! 10/10 highly recommend.

Lauren is the sweetest stylist I’ve ever had. Asked all the right questions, made sure it was perfect, and great attention to detail. Made me fall in love with my hair again! I will definitely be coming back!

An Experience that I needed. You all are awesome and deserve a shout out for your hard work. Keep it up. I’ll be back.

I love my stylist Steph B. She is great with cut and color and has a great personality! I always look forward to my hair/spa like appointment. From walking in the door and relaxing with a glass of wine to the amazing wash room where you get a scalp massage to the final style touches I am always made to feel special. I highly recommend Steph!

I have been a long time Studio B customer and I heavily debated writing this review, but it is warranted. I have since moved from the area, but traditionally book an appointment when I come back because the quality of hair stylists always appeared to be superior but this is no longer the case. I will never set foot into the Old Town location again and am heavily debating ever setting foot in another Studio B location.
I booked a 6:45pm appointment (for context, they close at 7:30pm) with Mae. Upon arrival I was asked to pay ahead of time for my haircut because I was the last appointment. Since I had never had a bad hair cut from any Studio B stylist, I obliged and paid and tipped 25%. Lesson learned. NEVER pay ahead of time and NEVER tip ahead of time. Studio B, you need to have a discussion with your employees that this is unacceptable. If I could take my tip back, I would. The employees were more focused on getting the shop closed up than providing a service.
The entire haircut process was rushed. I arrived approximately 5 minutes late (parking issues) and I walked out of there at maybe 7:10pm There was only a very quick shampoo--no conditioner. I was asked if I wanted a scalp massage and I said "yes." The massage was maybe a quick 2-3 passes. In fact, I barely could tell the difference between the shampoo and massage.
Then on to the hair cut. I always ask for 1-2 inches off, layering on all sides, and framing around the face. Now granted, it had been a bit since my last hair cut, but regardless, every stylist I have ever had makes an attempt to look at the previous hair cut and layering. This did not happen. The hair cut to include the layering consisted of very quick chops. So quick that I was stunned when she claimed she was done. I think I was so stunned that I sat there for a couple of seconds, speechless, because there was zero layering on the sides and barely any framing around the face. I then had to coach her on the layering and framing. Again, very rushed and more quick chops. Also, it was if there were no incremental cuts--it was chunks.
She was so rushed that she didn't even ask the most basic question...HOW DO YOU PART YOUR HAIR?
I have never met a stylist who was so inept at being able to read hair and provide a hair cut with layering/framing. As I kept trying to coach her, the hair got short enough and was still lacking any style, that I said it looked fine and departed. There comes a point when you recognize that the stylist is not capable and it's best to cut your losses and leave. Additionally, the stylist didn't even offer to style my hair. I walked out with my hair looking flatter than when I arrived.
I am gutted and absolutely embarrassed by my hair cut. I've had better hair cuts from Great Clips and Walmart. I am grateful that I can still put my hair in a pony tail and that it will eventually grow out.
But, NEVER pay and tip for a service ahead of time--even when you have had prior positive experience.

Super happy with the services offered at this salon, especially the 10 minute massage at the bowl. They have professional stylists at all levels, and my favorite salon products. It’s worth the drive from WY!
Stylist: Jesse gave me the best haircut I’ve had since moving to the mountain west three years ago. Conversation was refreshing, and I really enjoyed the appointment. I booked him last minute and couldn’t be happier with the result.

Found this places based on reviews. I set up a consultation and completed their extensive email hair survey. Talk through everything I needed and the stylist and salon straight up ghosted me. Would not recommend this hair salon to anyone especially bright blondes.

I have been going to Studio Be in old town since 2011 so that is already saying something. I have been seeing Priscilla for a while now and she is absolutely amazing!! Her cuts and color are both always better than expected, and I have received so many compliments on my hair.
I also had Jesse Fox do my bridal party hair and my wedding hair and I could not say enough good things. He is so professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun. He knows what he is doing and created a timed schedule with my makeup artist to ensure everyone was finished and ready by the time we needed. Every single hairstyle he did was stunning. He even traveled up to Estes for me and my girls. Book him for your wedding if you can, you will be beyond impressed!

Mae is my go to stylist for my cinnamon red! She took my hair from a swampy green that I had done at home to a super pretty red over the course of two sessions. She's always incredibly thorough with me in her consultation and has always taken the time to be completely honest with me about what my hair CAN and can NOT handle. I have thin, fine hair and instead of simply taking my money and giving me a disaster hair cut that wouldn't work for my density she instead gave me a beautiful face frame and trimmed my dead ends. I seriously can't recommend her enough for VIVIDS and seriously customized color. She gets it and she makes sure you are taken care of.

Not my usual salon as I don’t live in the area but needed a spontaneous blowout for an occasion. The staff were super friendly and upon inquiring, the manager Melaina, was kind enough to squeeze me in for a quick service. I love that they carry/use Oribe and my stylist was great at handling my blowout with extensions. Will definitely be back when I’m in this part of town, thank you!

I’m usually positive when it comes to new salons, however this place has no parking and you risk being towed in the 2-Hour a few blocks away.
Coming here as my first time, I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment at 12:45, my hairstylist took nearly until 1:30 to finish another client and I sat there waiting with no updates. I was scheduled for an “Extended Cut” because of the length of my hair which was totally understandable. After going back and getting washed, the simple trim took legitimately less than 2 minutes with poor hair-products.
When reserving my appointment I prepaid 14$ before, and I would pay my remaining 40ish after for a total of 55$ for a trim. At the counter I was charged 66$ (because of said “extended cut”). The ENTIRE total was around 80$
I was new to the salon, so I was booked with the beginner stylist at the price of 55$ for a trim. What I paid (for an extended cut?) costed 10$ more than what a Senior Stylist charges.
This place was a scam for money and a trim that I could have spent at cost cutters for 20$.
With that said, the salon was cute and rustic, but needs some fixing on the business side. As well as the front desk lady was very welcoming and offered me beverages while I waited, for her I give 2 stars.

Worst costumer service ever !
I had an appointment and I got there early and there was absolutely no parking spots .. they don’t have any parking designated for their salon at all.. you can’t park in a 2 hour parking spots because hair color appointments last longer than that . I called them through out the time I was looking for a parking spot multiple times . I finally found one and I called again saying it’s a 5 minute walk for me and if it’s okay or should we reschedule and they said to just come in and talk to the stylist , I did . The stylist didn’t even talk to me front desk guy told me it’s too late and charged me 50% cancellation fee (which I understand that’s the policy) but I called multiple times and talked to the other girl and she said she will just let the stylist know that im looking for parking … it’s so frustrating! They shouldn’t have a put a salon there if it didn’t come with some reserved parking for their clients ! I’ll never go there again.

You can’t go wrong at Studio Be Salon, but their new master stylist Jesse is incredible. He gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had and is worth every penny. Run, don’t walk to have Jesse cut your hair!
