We started at Children's Workshop about two months ago and have been beyond thrilled! The staff is kind, engaged and has built relationships quickly with my daughter. They always provide me with details about her day. She is excited to attend every day and comes home with evidence of all sorts of things she learns! We really love it and feel like we've found a GREAT fit! Thanks to the entire staff and leadership for all you do!

My daughter was enrolled at The Children's Workshop in their pre-K program. My daughter loved the staff there. Being able to drop her off and pick her up provided me insight in the daily logistics and operations. I felt that the premises were kept secure with badge access for the exterior door, as well as the front office being located right off the front door. The staff does a great job making sure the incoming kids are healthy. The food looked delicious (I never ate there, but saw dozens of meals served) there was always enough for seconds and thirds. The staff was very patient with the kids, and helped everyone have a positive experience. The only thing I would recommend is having teachers stay longer, the turn-over rate seemed high to me. But that didn't really have much of an impact on our positive experience with The Children's Workshop.

Once you step in here, you can feel the positive energy. The staff is very friendly and sincere. Our child had a really bad case of separation anxiety. But I never even once felt that teachers were treating him negatively or annoyed by him, they were very patient and professional and we finally got through this stage! Now my child never cries when i leave, but only waves at me with a smile (even after a long break). If you are looking for a place where your child will have full emotional support, this is the place. It is very wisely set up although compact. The facilities are a little outdated but always clean. Nice playground separated by age group, and a big lawn that the kids can run around during sports classes. Oh, and there is yoga once a week too!.

My daughter and I absolutely love this class! She has only been here since August and has learned so much. Everyday she comes home, she tells me something else she has learned and I am so happy that my money is going somewhere that is providing learning, a good environment, and fun for my daughter. I am always greeted when I come in with smiles and the teachers are wonderful. I am so pleased.

Love this place. Love these people. Energetic, talented, open/honest, and truly care about all children. We may have another kid just so we can send them here.

I believe the Children's Workshop is a great place to work and take your children to. I have done both! First I worked there while finishing my Early Childhood Education degree, and found that the management and other staff were great. It's a mini community that is friendly and loving towards the children, families and one another. Once I finished my degree and my son turned 1 I then decided to take him there while I went to work for an elementary school. They worked great with mine and my husbands schedule. We were able to do a monthly calendar for the days we would need childcare. Of course there were times when we were scheduled for a day and didn't end up needing care, we were still responsible for payment but this would be the case anywhere you go. The director, Torie, is wonderful and makes everyone feel welcome and comforted. I highly recommend taking your child here and working here! Thank you to Torie and the staff at the Children's Workshop for making this such a great chapter in our lives!

I have worked in child care for the past 13 years and the last two of those have been at the Children's Workshop. I can honestly say that CW is hands down the best center I have ever worked at. Everyday I go to work feeling like I get to spend my week with my extended family, from the wonderful children and parents that I care for, to the staff and director that I am lucky enough to call friends. I accredit all of this to the director of the center, Torie. Torie is the kind of person and boss who makes every child, parent and staff member feel valued, appreciated and welcomed every time you walk through the door. I feel truly blessed to be a part of such an amazing, quality program!

Children’s Workshop has been the ultimate blessing for my children. When you walk into the center, you are ALWAYS welcomed by staff wearing smiles. This is important to me as it is a clear indication they love their job, which ultimately means they love the children they are caring for. Torie the director, is someone who is very professional but isn’t afraid to get messy with the kids at the same time. She gets to know each child and their family on a level that makes you feel like you matter there.CW offers structured care with age appropriate lessons each day. Stretch and Grow, Mr. Marty, Spanish, dance are just a few of the activities that goes on in the classrooms each week. I love it there, but more importantly, my children love it there.I am so pleased with the care CW has given my children, and would HIGHLY recommend this daycare provider to anyone without hesitation.

I can describe our experience with one word- Family. The teachers and most especially, the Director Torie Serrato, have opened themselves to the children and their parents. Smiles greet you upon arrival and bestow ease with departure. They celebrate with you when a goal is achieved and are similarly disappointed when unexpected obstacles surface. They willingly accommodate changes to prearranged schedules should the need arise. Furthermore, the employees of Silverplume, unhesitatingly offer up their time to act as sounding boards regarding behavioral concerns or offer advice (when requested) on successful methods managing developmental stages.Miss Torie (the Director and so the guiding force), as she is commonly named, exudes intelligence, poise, and most importantly a love for children which is breathtaking in its sincerity. As if all the aforementioned were not proof enough to the caliber of this institution, I offer one final assertion. An accepted proverb comments on children being good judges of character. Silverplume, then, ranks supreme as evidence by the eagerness with which my child bounds through their doors in the morning, how she quickly contents herself with one of the available activities, how she runs to give each teacher a hug goodbye thanks them for teaching her, and by how she must enter the Director's office before leaving to give Miss Torie a hug and multiple verbal farethewells.
