If I could give a zero I would. The first time I brought my puppy into the dog pawlour I went to the location on college - he was 12 weeks old so they gave him a “puppy cut” which consisted of his face and around his sensitive areas. They told me to bring him back in 6-8 weeks for a full cut. My puppy is a yorkie so he has a full coat and needs to be bathed weekly. By doing this his coat started to mat and when I brought him into the harmony location they told me the risks of matting and had me sign a waiver stating that he could get cut in the process. About a half hour after I dropped him off they called me and told me he got cut and they couldn’t finish his groom. After picking him up I noticed that this was way more than just a cut on his skin, they had taken off a chunk of his skin and had a flap of skin hanging off. I called and asked to speak with a manager to express my concerns and I had the owner call me back. She was less than caring when it came to my concerns, cut me off multiple times while speaking and continued to blame the cut on my dog being “wiggly” while getting groomed. Again this was his second time getting groomed and as a professional business I would expect them to treat my dog with care and adjust to him to make sure he was comfortable and not proceed until they were able to calm him. The owner was very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to care for your dogs.In addition to this company blaming the cut on Remy being wiggly (as you can see in their comment below) I would expect that as professionals, if a puppy comes in and is wiggly that they would take extra care and stop the groom if they feel they are unable to safely shave him without injury. My dog ended up needing stitches because of their lack of care. When I called for a compensation the only thing the owner offered was a free groom. In all honesty when my dog needs stitches because of how he was groomed prior I have zero confidence or comfort in taking my dog back again. I called back to get a copy of the waiver I signed for my records and one of the employees unknowingly answered the phone, told the owner I was calling back and the owner proceeded to tell her not to answer my phone call. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service in my life.

Morgan has been grooming our miniature schnauzer since he has been a puppy, and she is amazing! We are so grateful for her care (and taking it slow when he is anxious) and love for our Wallace. He always comes back looking great, and she has shown off her skills as a stylist multiple times with different approaches to his hair cut. Wallace loves coming here to get groomed, and is always so happy when we bring him and pick him up. So wonderful to find a groomer that really cares about their clients and their profession!!

The grooming was fine. But beware of the extra charges. I had 2 dogs groomed. I was charged a $5 service charge for making an appointment PER DOG and a $5 haircut service charge PER DOG. You can't run your business without making appointments and wasn't a haircut the reason I was there? On top of that, they wouldn't show me the bill (said I could access it through my portal), just gave me the total and I paid a tip on the $20 worth of service charges (that I wasn't aware were on the bill). I will be taking my dogs elsewhere where I am not nickled and dimed and am shown a bill before giving a tip.

Just wanted to take the time and thank the incredible staff at the dog pawlour! A few months ago, our groomer closed and I booked with them. Something went wrong and my initial appointment got canceled, but the staff worked with me and fit me in the very next day before they even opened. My rescue dog was used as bait in dog fights, heavily abused and is now a senior. He has sensitive spots that can cause him to snap. The first appointment they were not able to calm him down to finish (he still looked fabulous afterwards) and recommended booking with a master stylist. He is a chow/border collie mix so he is very fluffy and has a thick coat and sheds a ton. Jessica did such a fantastic job for our second appointment and said his only issue was with the dryer which is common for many dogs! A big thank you to the entire staff for their patience and compassion with my dog. If you are looking for a new groomer in Fort Collins that are experienced and knowledgeable with dogs who can be more difficult to groom look no further. Thank you guys again!

For many years Brittany and her great staff were so kind and helpful in grooming my two beloved pugs. My first precious girl was a senior who passed to Rainbow Bridge in 2014 not long after Brittany and Preston opened their local business. I've always called Brittany the Dog Whisperer, as she was always so easily able to get my especially wiggly lovable second one to cooperate while those big pug eyes would look at me with an expression that said "See Mom?! This is how I want my pedicure done!" This special furbaby unexpectedly developed a neurological illness that would be terminal but her fighting spirit and excitement to go see her friends at the Dog Pawlour never wavered as she could not wait to jump out of the car and go in their door, knowing exactly where she was and that she dearly loved all the people inside. This sweet girl lost her battle over two years ago, but now I have a new little Boston Terrier who today was introduced to Brittany and a very nice young lady at the S. College Midtown location. Brittany was so gracious to remember me and accommodate us for a nail trim--and Toffee Bean gave several kisses, so now all three of my furbabies have, over the years, given their unanimous paws of approval to this outstanding local small business! We'll see you again soon and are so glad to know you're there for us! Thanks Brittany and all the Dog Pawlour staff!

Love the self-serve dog showers. Simple, clean, classy, and effective service. Everything I need to keep my furry best friend’s coat clean and healthy. Shedding increases substantially for a couple of days afterwards for my girl, but then it drops to almost nothing for many weeks - months.*** Edit to below: apparently I just didn’t know about the headphones for my girl. I’ll be sure to ask for them next time! ****** The only issue I have is that the compressed air is really loud and intense, and I worry about my dog’s hearing. The intensity can of course be great to blow off shedded fur and to dry her coat, but a dial that allows regulating the intensity would be very nice, and simple to install. ***Staff have always been very friendly and ready to help. They wear multiple hats and are pulled to the back for stretches of time, so having some patience is key.

I have a French bulldog whose 5 months old and I’m a little weary of trimming nails. After some research I found the Dog Pawlour and I am grateful I did. I brought him in and they ground his nails within a few moments and he did not fear the employees or experience at all. No appointment needed for a simple service like this. While there, I checked out the bath setup for the self service dog wash and I will definitely be trying this out in the future. I couldn’t be happier with the visit.

We are very pleased with our doodle’s new haircut! She looks absolutely adorable. Was her first time here and she’ll definitely be coming back.

I like this place and it's clean considering all the doggos coming and going. What I don't like is the way they do the shampoo and conditioner. They mix it into larger containers and add water. What happens is once near it being 3/4 empty, the product comes out in unexpected chunks and slips off the fur down the drain. The things I love are the powerful dryer and the appropriate temperature of the bath water.

Our doggo LT loves his weekly daycare visit to the Dog Pawlour! They take the best care of him and he is always a very tired boy when he gets home. Plus he loves going to all the paw-ties!

The Dog Pawlour groomers are experts on double coat dogs like my Akita. Their experts handle her coat blow and her temperament with a smile. They have plenty of reward treats available for retail sale after a grooming session. I've also used their self service dog wash, but I'm no groomer. I always prefer their full staff treatments over my attempts at a self dog wash. This is my favorite spot for my Akita!
