We got married at Hillside Vineyard and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience due to lack of communication, misleading promises, and failure to follow through on critical responsibilities.
We chose Hillside because they advertise an “all-inclusive” package, both on their website and through conversations with their coordinator. They specifically promised that setup and coordination would be fully handled by their team so that we could have a stress-free day. That was not the case.
On the morning of our wedding, nothing had been set up. Not a single table or chair was placed—and with 150 guests scheduled to arrive in a few hours, there were no staff on-site, and the venue coordinator was not even on the property. My wedding party and family had to step in and do the entire setup themselves, which completely derailed our timeline and caused major stress.
Throughout the planning process, communication was minimal and often non-existent. We signed our contract over a year in advance, but Hillside did not connect us with any of our vendors (caterer, florist, etc.) until only three months before the wedding, despite repeated requests for information.
They also told us they would book our preferred DJ on our behalf, which we agreed to. After months with no updates, we reached out to the DJ directly—he had never been contacted by Hillside. We had to scramble to book him ourselves at the last minute.
While the venue is beautiful, the planning process and wedding day were full of broken promises and left us deeply disappointed. The consistent lack of responsiveness, misleading communication, and absence of staff support on the most important day of our lives made for a stressful and disorganized experience.
I would not recommend Hillside Vineyard to any couple looking for a dependable or truly “all-inclusive” venue.

Communication leading up to as well as on our wedding day was nearly nonexistent—we often had to follow up multiple times before getting a response. On the day itself, the venue was unprepared despite prior assurances, leaving us and our families scrambling to set up tables, chairs, and décor. Lindsey and the team were nowhere to be found. This caused us to miss key moments with loved ones and created unnecessary stress. What should have been a joyful day was overshadowed by poor planning and a lack of transparency. In addition, it appears to have transparent pricing however they nickle and dimed us even requesting additional money the day of. Afterwards, we’ve been trying to reach them to talk about our experience and again havent been able to get ahold of them. If there’s one thing I could change about my wedding day it would be selecting Hillside Vineyard.

My wife and I were recently married here and for the most part it was good. The venue itself is beautiful and there are a ton of places that would be beautiful for a ceremony. Also noteworthy is the indoor spaces, which are great for a reception, as well as comfortable bridal and groom suites for getting ready.
The cons are that things seem a little mismanaged or under-prioritized. For example, our coordinator who works there told us that she would be late due to being at the farmers market that morning and would arrive at certain time. This would’ve been fine as we knew ahead of time, but our coordinator ran even later than the agreed upon time with no communication as to why, and showed up with 20 minutes until the ceremony. In my opinion, if you have an event as important as a wedding, maybe find someone else to do the farmers market that day. Also irksome was the fact that we filled out a form that specified our chair and table layout and after communicating with event staff at the beginning of the day about said layout, it was still incorrect by the time the reception rolled around. Little things like this made us feel unimportant and like we didn’t matter as much as the out of state wedding that happened the day before.
Overall, we had a lovely day, but that was more due to the nature of the day itself, being surrounded by friends and family in a beautiful space, rather than the hospitality services themselves.

We celebrated my daughter’s graduation at Blendings. What a fantastic evening! The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Their impressive knowledge, delicious wines, and warm hospitality made it a celebration to remember. I would highly recommend for an event or special occasion.

My husband and I got married on 11/2/2024 and I don’t even have words to explain how much we love the team at Hillside. Lindsey is the most incredible person you will ever meet and I have no idea what I would have done without her in the wedding planning process. She calmed every anxiety induced panic that I had and every single moment through the day was made better by her presence. Lauren was also incredible. There truly isn’t enough that I can say to convey how grateful I am to everyone at Hillside for making my dream day come true. Lindsey - thank you thank you thank you. I kept telling Brandon that every time I talked to you I just got more and more excited. Your light shines so bright and I can’t imagine our day anywhere else. Thank you and your team for truly making our day go off without a hitch. You are just one of the kindest people I have had the honor to meet and every little thing you did for us did not go unnoticed. Again - I don’t have words for how much you and your team mean to us.
Thank you for everything you have done and we hope to be able to celebrate at blending whenever we can!!

My husband and I got married here on 8/17 and had the most amazing experience. Lindsey was so helpful not only throughout the whole process, but especially day of. She calmed nerves, made sure everything ran smoothly, and helped make our day perfect. I literally didn’t have to think about a thing day of because she had it all coordinated. We also loved getting to blend our own wine and have it at our wedding!! Lindsey had suggestions and tips/tricks throughout the planning process as well, and it helped make our day unique to us. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We will definitely be back to visit the vineyard and it will always hold a special place in our heart!!

We just got married last night and oh. My. Goodness. Lindsey and the whole staff was absolutely amazing!!! They ran this wedding SO smoothly! The payment plan they have works great for brides on a budget, and the whole venue is stunning. There are lots of options for your ceremony on site (2 different gazebos, a pond background, a beach, the Vineyard, etc) and the reception hall has beautiful wood walls, string lights, and gorgeous white drapery all along the ceiling. Lindsey is super organized, flexible, and provides a completely flawless wedding experience. I actually got a cold on my wedding day and she made sure I was drinking water and had cold meds on stand by. I didn't have anything to worry about on my wedding day because she handled any problems or mishaps for us, and kept everything on schedule. The greatest thing was that we were able to clean up the day AFTER the wedding because there wasn't another event and she organized ALL of our decor and put leftover food in the fridge! All we had to do was pack it in boxes and leave! Most importantly though, Lindsey is very down to earth and super personable. It was like talking to a friend while planning our wedding. If you want a GORGEOUS venue, dedicated and organized staff, and a seamless wedding, go with Hillside Vineyard!

My sister, mom, and I came to Blendings Winery last week for the Blending Experience. We had Allyssa guide us through the evening from the tasting, to sharing all of her knowledge with us regarding wine, and ending the evening with helping us create our own blend and bottling it for us to take home. She made us feel so welcomed, 0 judgement, and beyond comfortable to spend an evening around the table sharing wine together. A fantastic experience! The blending seminar was a unique and fun evening learning about wine, assigning words to smells and tastes, and discovering one’s personal preferences. Blending your own wine to take home was awesome. Our host, Evan, shared his vast knowledge and experience with wine in a very approachable, fun and easy manner. Will definitely go again!
