The Light Center has been a trusted lighting expert in Northern Colorado since 1971, offering the area's largest selection of lighting and accessories for both residential and commercial needs. Customers appreciate its wide variety of high-quality options and knowledgeable staff. Many reviews highlight the store's commitment to supporting local businesses and providing excellent service, especially from staff members like Simon and Carrie, who go above and beyond to help find solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
The store is praised for its extensive inventory, which includes fixtures that suit every decor imaginable, and its staff’s willingness to assist with special requests. For example, customers have experienced helpfulness in finding custom solutions, such as adapting ceiling fans for low ceilings and converting older recessed lighting to pendant lights. Staff members are described as responsive, creative, and dedicated to customer needs, with some going the extra mile to purchase the right hardware or troubleshoot issues.
However, some reviews mention challenges with order delays and miscommunications, particularly regarding custom fixtures and accessories like extension rods. Despite these setbacks, the company has demonstrated a willingness to resolve problems promptly when approached directly, with managers and staff responding quickly to concerns.
Overall, The Light Center is known for its extensive selection, knowledgeable staff, and commitment to customer service. While some reviews note past frustrations, recent interactions reveal a focus on improving the customer experience and ensuring that clients leave satisfied with their lighting solutions.
The Light Center helped me get a warranty part for my fan but the best part was the skill and thoroughness of the installation. Zach took time to make sure it was working and gave me guidance on another fan issue I was having. I can’t thank him enough for his expertise.
