This must be the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I keep going to it because it's conveniently located, but I've never been able to pick up an rx without waiting for at least a half hour, and most of the time my prescriptions are out of stock, and nobody calls to tell me.Edit 1/2024: Somehow every time I go to this pharmacy my experience manages to be worse than the times before.

We had prescriptions filled at Walgreens for years and just switched to a local pharmacy. Walgreens did not follow up on a refill request from the prescriber for over a week. They told me they did not have the doctor’s contact information which was not true because I had that prescription for years and refilled successfully other times. The quality of service is poor. They are too big to care.

This place is a disaster. I am livid at the lack of attention to detail re my prescription drug issue today, the level of incompetence and disregard for a simple customer experience is mind blowing. The fact that I repeated my account number 3 times, correcting Nijoni (spelling?) 3 TIMES only to find out 2 phone calls to my insurance and 45 minutes later, that she still got my ID wrong. There's no excuse for this poor service. NONE!

Hands down the worst Pharmacy ever. GO ANYWHERE else!! Worst customer service. Rude, passive aggressive communication, ignore you at all cost and least helpful staff I have ever seen. When asked how to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy that could help me more they all high five each other so they wouldn't actually have to work or figure out something for a customer.

How is this company even in business? I have never in my life experienced the level of rude and incompetent customer service as I just experienced at this location. Shame on you, Wallgreens for running such a poor business.

The store is fine but the pharmacy…phew. Bring a sack lunch bc you’re going to be waiting awhile! I understand short staffing, but they could acknowledge the situation that customers are waiting 15-20min just to pick up a filled rx. My entire lunch break was wasted waiting for one cashier to get through TWO customers in front of me. I was actively ignored by the pharmacist and other techs. The cashier was trying her best but 3 other employees were laughing and joking in full view of the customers. There were about 8 customers waiting in line when I left. Legend has it they’re still waiting…

This is by far THE WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with! Completely understaffed and the staff they have is undereducated. They do not keep the posted hours. Have been given partial prescriptions and then had the remained canceled and they could not give a reason. Then found out they had the medication, but canceled it to fill other prescriptions rather than keep their commitment to me. Now they are offering a second partial fill, and will likely cancel the remainder yet again. Thos is UNETHICAL and ILLEGAL for that matter! This place will eventually get shut down. Go ANYWHERE else for better service!

This Walgreens is probably the worse one I have ever dealt with. Their pharmacy is terrible. I am on hold and have been for 32 mins. Someone keeps picking it up and putting me on hold. I have my work phone line going as well and they are doing the same thing to that call. Horrible customer service! Need better staff!

If I could give a ZERO, I would. I concur with others -- the pharmacy provides the absolute worst services. I've been waiting over two weeks for RX to be filled -- if I call in and get the automated response it says "it is in progress." When I speak with a pharmacist or tech, they tell they will have it ready later that day. Today after getting fed up "later today", I escalated my call and found that the medicine is not in stock and they have no idea when it is coming in. More than two weeks, and no one can tell when my RX will be ready. Thank goodness it is not life threatening!!!!

Hands down the worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. I wish I read the reviews beforehand and found even just a different Walgreens location. At this point, will be finding a new pharmacy company altogether after this experience :(

Avoid this Walgreens pharmacy location at all costs. I was wondering why they have so many 1 star reviews, but after using them since I moved to this side of town for the last year, I now see why. I just had oral surgery and they only partially filled the painkillers I need post surgery. They tech failed to inform me of this when picking up the prescription and they now refuse to fill the partial without providing another prescription. So now I am in pretty sever pain, and need to go pick up another prescription from my doctor to get the partial fill. Aside from this experience, you can expect your insurance to be entered into their system incorrectly and over billing you. There are a couple good techs there, but there are also some pretty poor ones that make dealing with them terrible. I’ll be driving to another Walgreens from now on.

I worked at Walgreens my senior year in high school (1993). Back then, the company had much higher standards of professionalism for employees and customer service than what I experience now. That's true for every Walgreens I've been in the past several years. This store on west Drake is where I go for prescriptions. Some of the staff are nice, but it doesn't run well. Common medications (OTC & Rx) are frequently out of stock, but easy to find at Walmart or King Soopers. Takes a long time to fill prescriptions. Sad to see this company in a downward spiral.

This pharmacy was just fine a few months ago but now every single time I call or try to pick up my monthly prescription, there’s some invented problem of why they can’t fill a script (even if they received it days ago) and they say I just need to talk to my doctor before they’re able to do anything. I talk to my doctor, sometimes even waiting out the weekend to do so, and the doctor confirms that the issue was 100% on them but will call to clear things up anyways. I’ll reach out to the pharmacy again who will say they never heard from my doctor, even when the clinic will record an exact call log indicating who and what time they’ve called that I can literally preview. Why so much back and forth? They’re so quick to pass off issues instead of just figuring out what the problem is, usually on their end. I don’t know if it’s a miscommunication error or poor new management or what but it’s a new problem as of the last few months and it needs to stop.

Absolutely terrible store chain. There's a good reason why the pharmacy and other departments seem so disorganized: it's because Walgreens treats it staff terribly.I now have known three people who worked at Walgreens and every one got a big wage increase by going elsewhere, along with better benefits . It's no wonder the staff seem like abused children at every Walgreens I've been to -- it's because they ARE abused.

This pharmacy is a joke. Someone needs to come in and figure out how to run an effective efficient pharmacy OR just shut it down if there isn't enough people to staff it . The lines are ridiculous. The wait time from customer to customer is not okay. This place needs to get it together. After receiving a call that my prescription WAS ready, then waiting in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes, I was told my prescription was indeed NOT ready and that I'd need to wait 20 more minutes. This review is based off of one too many times waiting in line here. I'm beyond frustrated with this place.
