after waiting 15 minutes in front of customer service while employees stared at me the store manager came to pay out my scratch ticket. He fumbled around on the machine then told me my ticket had been paid out already. I told him that it had not . he then read off the machine that it had been paid that exact minute we were standing there. I was in shock because this store manager was just taking the 40$ from me blatantly. i would never go to this store again. As a local business owner i am floored. i will be telling this to every customer that comes into my store from now on and will advise everyone that I encounter not to give this store a dime of your business. Being rude to customers is bad business but stealing from customers is unacceptable.

The pharmacy is absolutely horrible. Picking up a prescription is nothing short of a nightmare that goes on for days. It's been horrible for years. They have no staff- the staff members lie to you. They have no sense of customer service after lying for 3 days. This is the 3rd day in a row I tried to get my prescription I called in 4 days ago and she says it'll be done in 20 minutes. There were about 12 people in line amd when asked if I would have to get back in line They respond with yes. They should be closed down permanently if they can't figure out how to run a pharmacy even close to decently. I will be switching tomorrow.

Went in to get the London broil on sale and asked the meat department if they would slice them for us to make jerky. I am very impressed how they are happy to do this. Kudos the guy in the meat department with the beard. You are awesome!!!

I dont shop at Safeway a ton. I am more of a king soopers girl. However i do on occasion go to this store for both work and also personal shopping. The produce is generally well stocked and looks good. The employees around the store are generally helpful and willing to help you locate stuff. When i have been in the aisles have been fairly well stocked. have been able to find most of what people have wanted or i have wanted. reason for 3 stars is as follows :-the water refill station has been closed since march! this was one thing i actually did regularly go in for. they say its because of covid but every other place that has a water refill station in town has theirs open. its pretty annoying that they are keeping theirs closed and saying its for "covid"-this older lady who frequently works at the self check will REAM you if your mask falls below your nose or if its not how she thinks it should properly be. Mine slides and one day I was checking stuff out and instead of politely asking me to pull it up she came over and yelled at me and gave me the what for. Yeah no thanks b-yatch. She was there again today when i was working instacart. She definitely has turned me off from wanting to ever support the business as she is a regular full time employee and she is nasty.

I went to the gas station to get a water because myself and my partner needed it BADLY, and the cashier wants to come and block me at the door and get extremely defensive and RUDE about not having a mask. I have asthmatic issues and I'm waiting for a specific order of masks. To block me off and be as rude as the boy/girl/it was and to follow up with the manager who doesnt want to have any understanding, argues with me and has a cynical attitude, and the HANGS UP on me instead of resolving the issue, YOURE DISCRIMINATING PEOPLE WITH MEDICAL ISSUES ALL WHILE BEING A BUNCH OF RUDE ASSHOLES! I know this is a simple fix, never shop with safeway ir albertsons again but just a shitty review of this staffs attitude and they're self found vigilant duties to treat people like s*** because of a mask is good enough for anyone else to stay clear of this place. And the COVID is a LOAD OF S*** and everyone of you little crybabies boo hooin about other's not wearing theirs, need to FOCUS ON YOUR OWN SELF! For f*** sakes, its been 9 months and you people just keep sucking your politicians dicks cleeaann off. F*** that cashier, f*** your manager, and f*** your board of directors. Safeway is on the way to bankruptcy anyway, that'll be a GREAT f****** day.

If you want to be treated like dirt by a cashier Theresa, then go to this location. This person has been horrible before the pandemic, but since the COVID, she treats the customers like they are her number one enemy. Everyone has their own things going. A girl in front of me asked her how she was doing, and was trying to lift her spirits up by saying she hasn't had ten days off working and having a kid with her anytime she is not at work... then asked how she was doing. In response, this cashier totally blew her off and started practically yelling at her that she is still at work (10:30pm), and that she can't go home until she finishes her shift! She doesn't know the customer, but that person looked super nice, and all she was trying to do was to be nice. These are trying times, but to scold a person who is trying to lift your spirits ANYTIME (pandemic or not) is not okay! I'd rather go to King Soopers, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's - those stores have great customer service and better selection of food! Shame on you, Safeway!!

I did some light shopping here at about 3 in the afternoon on a Friday. Their produce section was great, as were the deli, meat department, and bakery. The shelves were stocked in a logical fashion, which is a big plus for me! I found all the items I needed very quickly and I made it to the checkout line. Here is where the one star ding comes from - it took at least 10 minutes to check out. There were only two checkers, and maybe three carts in each line, but for whatever reason, they were amazingly slow. When I finally made it to the front of the line, with my 10 items, I sailed right through, so I'm not sure why everyone else took so long. My checker was friendly and top notch. Another big plus for me is they refill 1 and 5 gallon water jugs - cheaper and less impact on the planet. I'm from out of town, so I really don't have a bias one way or the other. Whole Foods has great produce, meat market, and deli, but it took me forever to find what I was looking for.

This is my favorite Safeway location in Loveland & Fort Collins. We used to live around the corner but I've continued to shop at this location even after moving to Loveland as I work in Fort Collins. They always have a great selection of fresh produce, while other Fort Collins stores end up with empty shelves and wilting leaves. They also have a variety of gluten free products and the clearance shelves are always full, which is fun.

Great place if you like standing in line at 5pm rush hour and they only have 2 check stands open even when the lines are going down the aisles!! I had a full cart of groceries and after seriously 10 mins and not moving I walked out! Every time I'm in there lines are out of control. I'll be shopping at king soopers from now on. You get in and out No problem there!
