I was a member here for 8 years. It’s always been pretty run down and the staff has really been young. There were never towels and the equipment broke down all the time. The Treadmills literally had a charger for a gen 1 I-Pod. ??. It was always a big joke to us. Anyway we stayed cause it was close, paid even when they closed in Covid. The other day I showed up and there was a sign on the door saying we’re closed and you now can go to the YMCA. No call, no email, no notification except on the Ap when i searched I could find it mixed in with a bunch of other stuff. The YMCA is cheaper than their fees…. So I decided to cancel. Good luck with that! You can’t get anyone on the phone, when you do it’s a different company and they say sorry we can’t help we’re not the same company…. they have a script about 30 days notice and ultimately screwed me out of $150. I understand contracts but their practices are shady and oh, I never signed a contract, I was never given the option. The one they sent was blank. Then when pressed they sent a “signed” one which i didn’t sign. It said VABV on the signature line l, I’m assuming when i signed up over the phone the Manger filled that in without telling me the terms. I’m making this post because I’m sick of Scammers. I do not recommend this place. Very unprofessional, and I’d say unethical. And get your contract. Mine said 15 days AND I paid my last month when I enrolled.

Everything about the gym is pretty good apart from Xavier the person who works at the front every person I know that goes and workouts there with me has complained about Xavier before he is rude has a big ego and possibly racist from what I’ve heard. do not try to get help from him if you can he is not helpful. If you try to cancel your membership do NOT do it with Xavier he will charge you even after he has said it won’t and will not give you a refund after you have complained about it.

The gym is pretty ok, I have Muscular dystrophy but still Go to the gym to feel stronger most days, I have been having trouble with the front desk. 3 days ago was the 2nd time that Xavier (front desk worker) has denied one of my colored friend's to enter the gym. Keep in mind my friends membership had a guest pass and on multiple occurences my friend was let in by other workers. it seems that Xavier is the only front desk worker that seems to care if he gets in, i fully believe its because of his skin color and they should NOT have workers like this at the front desk.

Ive been going to this gym for some time. and usually have never had problems until recently One of the staff has been getting out of hand, i dont quite remember his name but he is tall and has brown curly hair. he has been racist to alot of my friends multiple times and Im finally reporting him. he is very hard to talk to as he doesn't help much. apart from that the gym is pretty solid with a big crowd and pretty average machines.

The trainers are very nice but that’s about all the positive I’ve experienced here. It is impossible to cancel your membership.. They put so many hoops for you to jump through. I’ve visited twice and still have not been able to cancel. First I tried over the phone and was told I needed to come in. Then I tried to cancel then was told to come back to see a manager because one was not there. After I spoke with Xavier, he told me I needed to wait for the general manager. They have predatory billing practices and will exploit you for your money. Do not sign up here.

I’ve been going here for years and finally making a review the actual gym is a pretty normal gym usually crowded, good machines. Only downside is the staff. Especially Xavier he usually never helps and is rude about anything you ask even if it’s a small problem. A little under a year ago I tried to cancel my membership and asked Xavier if it would charge me after the cancellation he said “no it will not” I was charged for 3 more months before I called in and asked for a refund. Ironically enough Xavier answers and tells me I cannot get a refund, Get better staff.

recently started going here, and let me tell you the Front desk People are the rudest I've ever met. never in my life have I witnessed a man be so rude to elderly especially my wife. The actual gym is pretty okay with high schoolers every now and then but you can make yourself around them. only problem is the front desk when working out one of the front desk guys told my wife she "wasn't fit" to use a machine she was trying to use while showing a new member around. i did talk to him privately but next day i show up he is still as rude as always, will be finding somewhere else to workout.

This company’s business practices are fundamentally flawed. Zone goes around buying out other gyms, downgrades existing gym membership passes without notifying the gym goers. And when you have questions, complaints or concerns that they don’t want to answer, or can’t find a solution to. They allows their staff to call the police on people. My husband has been at prestige in Aurora for over 7 years and this is ultimately the worst gym experience that I can ever encountered visiting as his guest. The gym staff has no professionalism there is never anyone sitting at front desk to greet gym goers, and it seems they have No customers service skills or organization. Instead of finding solutions to problems or new policies they changed they treat people less than. The management at this location is concerning. The entire company obviously has issue after reading such horrible reviews. Also, the AC still isn’t working after 2 years, the building literally reached 96degrees on Sunday causing us to have headaches.

Love this gym! I’ve been coming here for years, love the atmosphere, equipment and the friendly staff. Never too packed like the other gyms I’ve been too. Stacy the gm is very helpful and kind.

Cancelling a membership here is a nightmare. I moved across the country in January and (as they requested) went in person to the gym beforehand to cancel my membership. I filled out the paperwork, had a long conversation with the man behind the desk about how I was moving to New York (wish I remembered his name), and he assured me that my membership would be cancelled and I wouldn’t be charged in the future months. I just realized that I’ve been charged every month since moving, and I’m out a total of almost $200. I called the gym to explain the situation and request a refund, and they told me there was nothing they could do because they had no record of me coming in person to cancel—even though it does show in their records that I haven’t checked into the gym since January. The gym itself is fine, and the man I talked to on the phone was perfectly nice, but there have to be better systems in place to prevent something like this from happening. The workers need to be SPECIFICALLY trained on how to cancel memberships and where to store paperwork, because I followed all the proper protocol on my end, and yet somehow I’m supposed to shoulder the $200 cost because my cancellation wasn’t correctly processed. I’m not typically a complainer and I never leave bad reviews, but people should be aware that if they think they’ve cancelled a membership here, they should check their bank statements closely. Or just never move I guess.

Please listen to the bad reviews as they outweigh the good ones by miles. I think if you are an avid gym goer this not the place for you. In fact I think the only reason they have the demand or are still in business is simply location. If it wasn't the only thing in the area maybe there would be a higher standard from these guys. Just to list a few of the bad things; there's carpet thats dirty and worn out in the locker rooms(why would you do that in a locker room?), kids leaving trash in lockers, poorly kept and maintained equipment(seats to machines are missing material and showing foam, etc), and the urinal in the mens bathroom was almost always leaking(felt gross to use any part of the bathroom). Now the other reviews of people having nightmares to cancel a membership are not wrong. There's a reason they have a "F" on BBB and they have a 3.2 on google when writing this review. When canceling a membership they have you come and sign a document. No issues with that...other than I suggest getting a copy. They claim a form was never signed for my gf and billed an extra month(on top of an extra month of when you cancel) and now won't do a refund. I'm now dealing with being billed and extra month. Every time I call to get clarification I can't seem to get to someone that can help me and am put on "the notes" to be called back by someone that can help....think I've been called back? All in all, if it is the only thing thats convenient and near to you(people from Timnath, Windsor, etc) please value your time and standards and spend the extra gas and commute time to go somewhere better.I wanted to update the review and let everyone that comes across this review know that management did reach out to resolve the issue. They have gone ahead and issued refunds for both my girlfriend's account and mine. I technically was properly billed due to cancelling two days late but they were nice enough to take care of me.

I’ve been a member here for years, every gym most likely has their issues (always try to keep a balanced viewpoint). There are a number of high schoolers, depending on the time of day and day of week. I just work out around them. Other than that I’ve been happy with this gym.I’ve participated with their personal training now for I’ve a year and a half. Lately working with Taylor. I’ve been super happy with his programming and the sessions I’ve had with him.

Just went as a guest and the staff at the front desk helped with the temp sign up to make it a breeze. Xavier? Very helpful and came in with a huge save with the supplements stocked. Thank you for getting me a workout in Zone!!! Here’s a picture of some plates

Zone fitness is a great value gym, and has have even GREATER team members. Today Stacey K. helped me solve something with my account, and she did it with a smile and a winning attitude. It’s rare to have exceptional service, and that’s what I feel I get at Zone and I’m grateful. 5 star service but giving 4 stars for maintenance issues such as torn carpet and some improvements that could be made.
