The service and quality was horrible and they were so rude and not helpful. I honestly have no more words, but don't get a membership here.

The staff here is very friendly and dedicated. Too bad they don't have a pool in this location.

I called this facility before stopping in to sign up for a membership plus child care. I then went into sign up. I wasn’t greeted by the employees at the front. One of them asked rudely, “Can I help you?” I said I came in to sign up. And she responded, “Okay…. For what?” I said a membership plus kid care. I just got off the phone with someone about it. Then the other girl sitting there said that might have been me, can I see your ID? They were so rude, stoic and unprofessional. There was a guy also leaning over onto the counter just watching her type in my information from my ID. I’m not sure if he worked there but it made me feel uncomfortable. I told them I’d think about this and maybe come back. She handed back my ID and I left. Not good customer service and this will detour people away as it did me.

I have mostly fantastic things to say about this gym. It's become my second home. Everyone who works the morning/early afternoon is pleasant and friendly and I enjoy seeing them daily. My kids LOVE the daycare and I trust the daycare workers as if they were my own family. My issue comes with the YMCA policy itself, about the dress code, but also with the women who work in the evenings who could be spending their time doing literally anything else (taking control of the madhouse when every kid from Fountain is there playing basketball or working out) but choose to focus on what I'm wearing. Along with this, the comment that was made about me "looking cute" but needing to put a shirt on, made me see red. I go to the gym to workout. To focus. To relieve stress. I've never even noticed what anyone else was wearing. I don't go there to look cute. Just because a policy is a policy doesn't mean it's not absolutely ridiculous and outdated. My physical fitness journey shouldn't be sexualized, and a sports bra, one that shows NO cleavage at all, shouldn't be an issue, especially since I had my sweater wrapped around my waist. I can promise you my children would never see a woman working out, working hard on herself, and think "wow she looks like a (insert whatever word the YMCA and some of the employees thinks when they see a woman in a sports bra)" because that would just be silly. Christians don't judge, no conditions. :)

This is our favorite gym ever! It's mostly the staff. Boogie, at the desk, is a man capable of doing anything: personable, businesslike, studious, and amazingly likeable. Roy, a trainer at two Y's, is likeable and highly skilled; a good and generous man. My better half's trainer is Brooke. My L. has had heart issues for a year and Brooke has approached the task perfectly of building L.'s health back! It's little by little. Anyone with a health condition, that lives nearby, should use this gym. Tom, a staff member, is hard working and helpful, and likeable. Deb, who cleans the gym, is the single sweetest, most likeable mortal I've ever run across! In short, you'll love this gym as THE friendly place to go!

I signed up for a family YMCA membership at the new Fountain Valley location a couple of months ago. The staff has been so wonderful and extremely nice! The learn and play staff have been so patient and kind when it has come to transitioning my 18 month old who has separation anxiety to being comfortable away from me. They have been extremely helpful and so gracious!!! Definitely sign up for the Y! These people care! ☺️

This is the only Y open on Sundays which is very nice for an option for Sunday activities. The couple that manages the facility on Sundays are wonderful people. They are professional, and courteous. They keep the facility in tip-top condition and ensure that the kids follow the rules of no-swearing. You can tell that they really care for the kids that utilize the facility.

How are the monthly rates the same as Pueblo or Springs but they dont have the same amenities? At other YMCA you get pools, hot tubs, saunas, rock walls, and I dont understand how this location is priced the same but basically is just has a gym and a few workout rooms...
