The pharmacy is the only reason I go to Safeway anymore and I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone today, some lady put me on hold and it took me to a voicemail I cannot even leave a voicemail and I just wanted my kids my epi pen. Why is this so hard ?

Not sure why this pharmacy gets such low ratings. Yes, they are extremely busy but they are very courteous and move as quickly as they can. I would use them again when in the area.

Total scam. They couldn't take my insurance, so I said ok thats fine, but they still ended up charging me for the appointment. I highly recommend not using this Pharmacy.

I figured since I already pick up prescriptions for my children here i would just have mine sent there and start using them. I saw in the app that it was in progress and figured it just needed insurance added. I got the notification my daughter's was ready so I went to pick that up and add the insurance to mine. This prescription was sent out about 3pm today. I went in about 6:30pm to try and pick up only to be told that they have hit there qouta for new patients with that prescription due to the demand. Ok fine, but the fact that they have had the prescription for 3 hours and when they saw i hadn't filled there before not to call and find out after the fact and my doctors office is closed until next week. I will never go there again for medications, there customer service was terrible. I had switched to them because of location. But prior to leaving that parking lot I have our old pharmacy pulling any medications they can. When you work in patient care there should be compassion.

If you want to be treated disrespectfully and have someone who wasn’t driven and smart enough to be a doctor question your doctors prescriptions even though they are doing exactly everything right , GO HERE !

Been going here for almost 3 years because the Walgreens across the street is an even bigger dumpster fire. There, I'd usually have to wait an hour to finally talk to someone to find out if they even had a very common medication and get half the prescribed amount.
It's marginally better here at Safeway, but almost every single time I get there, the medication isn't ready. They seem to only actually fill a script when someone bugs them in person since they never answer the phone. Then you have to wait somewhere for 20-30 minutes. Just prepare to wait for your medications AFTER you tell them to their face you need them. Today, it was only me, the tech, and the pharmacist in sight, and they asked if I really needed the act l medication today because they're slammed. Really? I pointed out that I have them 8 hours to fill it.
Can't wait for the king soopers down the hill to be finished. Definitely moving there, which is a shame since the rest of the store is actually pretty great. Except for when you are stuck at the pharmacy for an hour trying to get your prescription that was sent in at the start of the day and they lock the door you entered the store from and have to walk around the parking lot to get back to your car. CC-ing the main store listing so the GM gets to see this feedback too and not just the pharmacy manager.

Every time I get there I’m met with a new rude person at the desk. They have been absolutely terrible at helping me get new insurance put in. I’ve had to go there multiple times for 30+ minutes each time and they’ve still gotten nowhere in helping me. Walgreens got my insurance info within 10 minutes. I’ve been going there out of convenience but no more, I’m switching to Walgreens.

Gotta be the worst pharmacy in town. Can't keep my life saving meds in stock. Tell me dates when still will be in then tell me it's out of stock again. Deny me insulin every time I go despite calling in days prior. Take forever to answer the phone and when they do you'll be lucky if anyone can help let alone if you can understand them. Who turns down diabetics repeatedly for basic insulin?!?

they almost never have prescriptions ready on time, they also NEVER answer the phone. staff has picked up and hung up the phone immediately on more than one occasion. something is not working at this pharmacy and something needs to be changed but i doubt it ever will. they need to fire whoever is in-charge.

Have been coming to this pharmacy for about 2 years. They do EVERYTHING in their power to get you taken care of. It doesn't take a genius to see that they're consistently understaffed, and everyone working there will still bend over backwards to do everything in their abilities to get the medications you need.
Wanted to give a specific shout out and a massive thank you to both Brandon and Laryen. They are MVP's of this location, and they both deserve recognition for being amazing to and for everyone they assist.
Another huge thank you to the rest of the pharmacy for doing everything you can to help your patient/costumers.
Thank you for helping us all become or stay healthy.

Tell you that your meds will be ready after 5pm arrive at 7:08pm. Guess what meds not filled. And it is the pharmacist himself who told me after 5pm. Brandon has the worst customer service consistently. Absolutely annoying to work with!
