I’m really disappointed. I planned to come here today for birthday to go fruit picking with my family. After the over an hour drive, we get to the orchard and it’s empty. Not one person in sight. After looking around a few minutes I call the number online and a lady answers and I explain that we are here and are wondering if they were open. She responded and said that they are open and directed me to a sign that we had missed that said “directions on table” I asked how we pay, and she said “The directions are on the table, You can do it”. So we just left. I guess it’s all ‘self guided’. It would’ve been helpful to have a sign that specifically said that. Or at least to have a friendly face there to greet you when you get there. Im bummed, I’ve been fruit picking many times and never had an experience like this.

I've traveled to Heckmann Hollow several times. The hosts are super friendly and knowledgeable. Their produce and baked good are scrumptious. The flowers are gorgeous and the land beautifully maintained. Love it!

Awesome people run the orchard!! Although we were too late for apples, she did have plenty of grapes, squash, arugula, kale, tomatoes and plenty other fruits and veggies.

Took the family here last week to pick apples from the orchard! The kids had a great time, and we took home A LOT of delicious apples!

Such a beautiful garden ? we had so much fun! The owner is so nice! She helped us and showed us the garden and then we went to pick apples at the orchard. The apples are DELICIOUS. Everything is $1.50/lb and she only takes cash, Venmo, and cashapp.

We love this farm. We’ve gone two years in a row for apple season and have had a great time both times. It’s a family run farm and they are so kind. It’s a new family tradition.

Heaven on earth! Gorgeous property with fruit and veggies galore and extremely friendly owners that make you feel like you’re part of the family when visiting. Bring the whole gang for a family day outside in the beautiful Colorado sun.
