Fraudulent practices! Our initial experience with Blue Star was very positive. Tobias was very professional and proficient. We felt as though we were getting a reasonable, sound deal. We purchased an extended warranty on the vehicle, and 4 months later the vehicle was involved in a accident, totalling the vehicle. The warranty company offered a pro-rated refund that would be forwarded through Blue Star and then on to us. This refund was much needed on our end to pay off the remaining balance of the loan of the vehicle. The warranty company sent a check to Blue Star in a timely manner, but I had to contact Blue Star overo and over again to see why the lein holdeer hadn't received the refund and loan pay-off. It took weeks for the them to finally just send me the check which was for an amount $450 less than the anticipated refund. I was told by the Business manager/owner of Blue Start that they have the right to withhold fees and commissions on the refund. After researching this seemingly fraudulant practice, they DO NOT have the right to randomly hold money from the refund. The warranty company withheld $100 for a cancellation fee which is clearly writen in the contract. Blue Star has NO RIGHT and there is no narrative in the contract that says otherwise. Be weary of Blue Star and this devious practice!

Tobias is a Flat Earther and a horrible salesperson. He kept telling me about his beliefs while I was trying to buy a vehicle, which was very unprofessional. Go somewhere else and find a sane salesperson.

My experience at Blue Star was nothing short of amazing. The salesman Tobias was super helpful and I never felt pressured to buy. He provided me with all of the information regarding the vehicle that he could. Additionally, the vehicle was damaged by hail before he received it, and he paid for the hood to get fully replaced, as well as the front windshield AND on top of that gave me an $1000 discount. After test driving and having weighed my options throughout the searching process, I found that the car he was providing was a great value for the price. I ultimately bought the day of and have been assisted with anything I have needed, such as being provided with past maintenance information. I have in no way regretted my purchase from Blue Star and I am ecstatic about my new car! The car runs great and the only maintenance I’ve had to perform is an oil change in the 5 months I’ve had it. If any of my friends or family ever need to purchase a vehicle, I will definitely be recommending Blue Star Auto Group!! :)

I really want to like this company, but am sorely disappointed.I purchased a vehicle for $10K recently with a new component (replaced by Blue Star), and the check engine light came on in 3 days.After 5 different repeat trips to 2 different professional mechanics, and an additional $2K of my own funds for diagnosis, the conclusion was the car is essentially totalled requiring over $10K of work.While the salesman and head mechanic are civil, personable, and thorough, the management team would not budge to help fix a the faulty installed component, nor would they offer a trade in. It's purely business - legal - what you see is what you get.If you choose to do business with this company, I strongly advise you get any warranty. I will not be doing business with them again.

Was looking for a Mazda cx5 for a long time and found a great deal on one here. Too bad it was already taken, but Tobias introduced me to a Lexus RX330 that turned out to be a better car and better price and everything I was looking for. Im so glad he turned me on to the Lexus, I love it. Tobias was very patient and friendly and no pressure. He Let me test drive the car multiple times, along with a few other cars. Let me take it to my mechanic for a day. Prices were very fair and no dealer fee. Most of the cars there looked like well maintained cars and good deals. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from here again.

I bought my 2008 RAV4 from Blue Star Auto Group about two years ago (August 2019) and it's been fantastic for the price I paid. I had a diagnostic done last summer, and all they found was completely routine maintenance and suspension, and what else would you expect from a car that's 12 years old, and keep in mind that I paid a low price due to its age. Tobias was completely professional, friendly and helpful. He found financing for me at a very fair rate on the same day as I purchased the vehicle, and I drove it home with only about one hour spent at his dealership. To boot, when I refinanced due to the new lower rates available thanks to the pandemic, he sent me a check for $219.54 in the mail this week (nearly two years after I purchased it) for the refund for the GAP insurance that I chose to add to my purchase...if that doesn't show honestly then I don't know what would. He specialized in cars that are a little older and as a result less expensive. Since he is pretty much a one-man-show with a remote location (hence lower rent and other overhead costs), he is able to offer lower prices than dealerships in the city but with the peace of mind that someone who knows what they are doing has evaluated the vehicle to be able to find a fair price. He also has every vehicle he sells checked out at an auto shop and gives you the diagnostic report that they give him, and he fixes anything that needs fixing before putting it up for sale. I'll admit that it was a small leap of faith on my behalf to trust that he wasn't in cahoots with that auto shop which is also why I waited almost two years to give this review because the proof is in the pudding that I still drive daily and have driven it roughly 24,000 miles, including two very long road trips and plenty of driving in snowy/icy conditions in which very few people dared to venture out into. I am VERY pleased with my purchase, thanks Tobias!!! (feel free to check my other reviews to help you be sure that I'm writing this review legitimately...I now live in PA so I have no benefit to being nice to Tobias and his dealership)

The Blue Star Auto Group is a fantastic team. They are professional team with good, clear communications. They helped me with the consignment sale of my Toyota 4Runner. Their professional advice priced my vehicle and resulted in a rapid sale. There is no way I would have been able to successfully sell my vehicle for what it sold through Blue Star Auto Group. This was my first time financing a car and went to several dealers only to leave disappointed and drained! Then I found Tobias at blue star auto group and was blown away at how kind, respectful and completely transparent he was. He made the experience very enjoyable and exciting for me ? Thank you Tobias my husband and I will absolutely be back!
