A True Gem in Georgetown
Clear Creek Inn is simply magical. Sam and Lloyd are incredible hosts, warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every detail. Breakfast is a gourmet feast (think eggs, bacon, steak, sautéed potatoes, fresh berry smoothies, and coffee with real cream) served by the fireplace with stunning mountain views.
The inn itself is beautiful with wood floors, rustic log cabin charm, crisp white linens, and windows that let in the cool mountain breeze. The Griffith Room’s jet tub is heavenly after a long hike.
Outside feels like a fairy tale: flower gardens, quaking aspens, and the soothing sound of Clear Creek. Perfect for relaxing, reading, or journaling.
Georgetown is the ideal basecamp whether hiking Berthoud Pass, biking Vail Pass, driving Guanella Pass, or exploring local gems. Don’t miss Gary Haines’ breathtaking photography at Grizzly Creek Gallery or a savory meal at Mountain Mama.
This was my second visit, and it won’t be my last. Clear Creek Inn is a Rocky Mountain treasure!

Mountain stream.Impeccable rooms. A very relaxing mountain stream runs through the side and back garden of the property for guests. Relax and watch a live glassblower. The folks at this inn create a tranquil warm mountain inn retreat......with. a mountain stream!

Our son and daughter-in-law had their wedding weekend at The Georgetown Inn in July and it was wonderful. Sam and Lynn were great hosts, and everything was just as we'd hoped. The food was fantastic, and they communicated regularly during the weeks beforehand, working with us on special details to make sure everything went smoothly and was just right for the bride and groom. I would love to come back just to relax and hang out; it's a beautiful location, the rooms are very nice with super comfortable beds and robes, and the hot tub and sitting area on the upper level are so relaxing.

We were driving home from a 12 day road trip and needed somewhere to stop just for the night. I searched lots of hotels from Silverthorne to Denver and was most impressed with the website for Clear Creek Inn. We had no idea just how amazing it was going to be. When we first pulled up, we were immediately charmed by the creek running right by the hotel. The room was spacious and had a great view. We could even open the window and hear the creek bubbling. The bed, pillows, sheets, and comforter were incredibly comfortable-like sleeping in a pillowy marshmallow cloud. Having the hot tub out on the deck was a great way to relax after our long drive. We enjoyed a cocktail from the restaurant/bar in the hotel and loved being outside on the beautiful grounds. The whole experience was lovely. We will definitely be back to this hotel any time we are in the area!

We wanted a quiet getaway and got just that. Room was beautiful and clean, the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Lloyd and Sam were kind and attentive. We did not add the breakfast but it smelled and looked so good I wish we had. The hot tub was a great addition and we enjoyed how close it was to so many shops.

The property pictures don’t do it justice. The vibe was amazing right when you walk in. Everything was great including the employees, food and room. I would recommend this place to family and friends and I definitely plan on coming back. Well done

This place is gorgeous! We didn't stay here but we did some work in one of the rooms and we were very impressed with how nice this place is. Hot tub and outdoor fire place that looks out to the mountains! We will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends who travel to come see us.

Last night, my husband and 3yr old were stranded for 7.5 hours on I70 Eastbound between Silverthorne and the tunnel due to poor road conditions and stalled out semi trucks. At 12am, I called Clear Creek Inn desperate for a room they could stay in until they could safely head back down to the Denver Metro in the morning. The staff was beyond welcoming and compassionate to our situation. They assured me they had one room left and that they would take great care of my family when they arrived. The room was beautiful and accommodating and the perfect place for my husband and child to rest their weary heads after a very long and tedious night on the road. Thank you Clear Creek Inn for keeping my family safe! We will be frequenting this establishment for years to come. God bless

I’ve stayed at many hotels before, this little gem is truly exceptional. Sam is excellent host & owner, he even updated the highway traffic situation when I was driving out of town. Me and my daughter enjoyed our night by the fireplace with a movie. I wish we had more time to explore the town and the property. The experience is quite unforgettable.
We didn’t book breakfast as I thought it’s a little pricey. There was a big snow storm next morning and the only breakfast restaurant in town closed…. it took me 20 mins driving around town, I stopped 3 places to finally find a market for coffee and breakfast sandwich. Next time I’d definitely book breakfast at the Inn.
We are looking forward to coming back again next year for our ski trip. Thank you Sam !!

A beautifully scenic destination and not too far from Denver. I definitely recommend Clear Creek Inn for any mountain travelers! It’s a quick drive to Loveland Ski Area and other amazing outdoor rec options, such as hiking trails along Guanella Pass. Downtown historic Georgetown is walkable from the Inn. The rooms are clean and the beds are super comfy. The hot tub and other common areas are maintained very well. To top it off, the staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating! 10/10
