Georgetown Jerky & Emporium is a cool, quaint, and eclectic shop filled with an impressive selection of over 120 kinds of jerky from around the country. The offerings include all flavors of beef, from traditional hard and dry styles to soft and tender, plus a wide variety of exotic meats like alligator, kangaroo, elk, bison, wild boar, and life-changing bacon jerky. They also cater to vegan diets. The shop is well laid out and extremely organized, featuring a wall full of jerky. Beyond jerky, they support local makers by offering wine jams, hot sauces, salsas, hand-knits, handmade mountain jewelry, and vintage finds throughout. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a great selection of 15 flavors of licorice, local chocolates, caramels, fudge, and other candy. The space is dog friendly. The owner is super cool, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, taking time to explain the merchandise and processes. Customers describe the jerky as amazing, melting in the mouth with fantastic flavors, and confirm it is definitely not gas station jerky. The shop provides a wonderful and novel experience, ensuring visitors will definitely be back.
Very PERSONABLE AND INFORMATIVE about where all their items were however, I had already done my homework on GOOGLE!! Was looking for that same Buffalo 🐃 jerky I had 20 years ago from a stand in Granby Lake on the side of the road! Grabbed a couple of different jerkys but, most importantly for my birthday the BUFFALO!

The owner is exceptionally friendly. Great selection of jerky that you can’t find anywhere else. Very cool store, the owner told us the whole story about the big vault in the back of the store.

This place is absolutely wonderful, the owner, Max, is an absolute gem of a person. The beef jerky is incredible, definitely try the exotic meats!
