Our lovely daughters gifted us a stay at Four mile creek B&B for Christmas and we are so glad they did. My husband and I stayed in the barn cabin and thought it was beautifully designed and super comfortable. We were there in the winter and it was super warm. The breakfast was lovely. We would love to spend more time there in the future.

We arrived late at night under a blanket of stars and awoke in the morning to the sound of the creek. Our two-night stay in the Creekside Cabin was the perfect off-the-beaten-path experience. The cabin is cozy, warm, and romantic. Breakfast every morning was delicious. I can't stop thinking about those ginger scones! Jim and Sherrill are exceptionally kind hosts and shared so much interesting knowledge on the history of the house and the area. We hope to stay again in the future!

This B&B is wonderful! Just 15 minutes from downtown Glenwood Springs but makes you feel like you truly left it all behind. The property is beautiful, the couple are super kind. They have put so much love into this space and it shows. We stayed in the barn suite. Super cute apartment with sitting area, kitchen, bathroom and bed. My husband enjoyed the breakfast brought to the room which included scones, yogurt parfaits, quiches, fruit. My feedback is please offer something besides fruit for those with food allergies. We appreciate the hospitality and farm and do recommend others to stay there.

It is a beautiful spot up the mountain but still close to town, they hold concerts in the barn that are fun to attend. It is also close to the sunshine ski resort for the winter. They take good care of you and are available for any needs you have.

Rooms: We stayed in the reconstructed barn suite. It was a pioneer style with modern conveniences including air conditing. We had a sitting/tv area with a small stove, a bedroom area with a comfortable bed, a bathroom with toilet, sink and charming freestanding tub, as well as a kitchenette that featured a microwave, sink, hot plate, table & chairs, and a full size refrigerator. All of the buildings/ suites feature a rustic pioneer vibe with modern amenities. It's cool how the owners Jim & Cheryl were able to strike a balance of old and new .Nearby activities: There is a lot to see right outside your suite! The owners reconstructed a pioneer cabin, bunkhouse, and you're welcome to visit the main house to admire all the antiques, Cheryl's tin jewelry or a chat. Scattered around the yard is mountain meadow, flowers, Jim's unique metal sculptures, a teepee with a small fire pit.If you like photography there is a ton of scenery to capture. The b&b is about 15-20 minutes from the Glenwood Springs hot pools. The 90-111 degree water felt amazing. I have severe arthritis and the pools enabled me to see and do the things I wanted to do.Just up the street from the pools is the largest natural cave sauna that's heated by a hot springs, Vapor Caves. Along with the sauna, they offered regular spa amenities. We all enjoyed the sauna (which is truly unique, down a flight of stone stairs into the sauna with tons of nooks and crannies) as well as excellent massages. There is an adventure park that we didn't have time to visit. Our local friends told us the rides are fun - featuring a roller coaster on the edge of the mountain and swings that reach over the downward mountain slopeI also saw gondolas to ride to the top of the mountain and of course skiing at Aspen is nearby in the winter.Food & drinks: Cheryl and Jim provide the most scrumptious breakfast and snacks. Food appeared on our fridge late afternoon like magic. We had a different variety of quiches and scones each day, along with fresh fruit and yogurt and fresh orange juice. We really enjoyed the yogurt blueberry and granola parfaits one morning.

5 stars is not enough for this delightful B&B! We stayed in the red barn suite and it was amazing! It was quiet, comfortable, clean, and so incredibly cute! The breakfast goodies (quiche, yogurt parfait, and scones) were delish! The entire property is gorgeous and so nicely decorated and maintained. The owners are friendly and gracious. We highly recommend the Four Mile Creek B & B! I simply can't say enough good things about it.

Oh my gosh, I fell in love with this place! It was like a breath of fresh air. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the quiet location with the creek running behind it was divine, the cabin was clean, roomy, and perfect. I really don't want to give a good review because I want to keep this place hidden! But I can't resist, it was all just too wonderful and I loved the owners too much to not do one.
