We just paid $150 for a room that stinks really bad, and it’s very outdated l. It’s late and we are very tired to change rooms. Leaving in the morning. The Kiva rec center is fun! The views outside are amazing. Customer service, in person and over the phone, left me the impression that we were not welcomed. Not coming back to this location. We were excited about staying at a YMCA, but sadly we are not happy with the experience. It’s conveniently located 10 minutes from Granby Ranch, where we ski, but not worth the money nor the stress.

The room was fine, dated but ok.The staff was friendly, but we arrived early and could not check in. They said they would call us when it was ready.. we had to check back several time to get our room. The pool was closed, buckboard Cafe was closed, we missed lunch at the commons, had to wait 4 hours till dinner. The tubing on snow hill was closed, the craft shop was closed, the vending machines in our lodge did not work. We got a room with on the first floor so our son could play outside in the snow. It's a pet friendly hotel and someone's dog left a big dump right outside our sliding door. It's on the pet owner, not housekeeping, but it was the "cherry on top" of the stay. We drove straight thru from Houston, 20 hrs and were disappointed we could not do any of the activities we wanted to when we arrived. Not going to stay, leaving in the morning.

This is great location for a family trip. The stay includes many free activities (skating, tubing, pool) and there also inexpensive things you can add on (climbing wall, archery, crafts).

XC. The trail map they give you versus the ones on the actual trails don't match up. Some intersections have no trail markers so you're just guessing which way to go. Kept having to stop and look at map or ask other skiers. Fine. We survived. They need better signs at intersections.

I can't think of a better way to experience the Rockies with my family. The cabin was spotless and the kitchen very well equipped. The cabin was cozy and warm even at 0°I can't wait to go back. It's magical.

We have been coming here for two decades and the location, community amenities (kiva, craft cabin, tubing hill, amazing views and trails all get 5 stars) staff was friendly and the communal space in the reunion cabins is great layout wise but the quality of the reunion cabins have declined. We were in centennial. So gross. Missing kitchen equipment. Very dirty, sticky floors, uncomfortable beds. Stains on the towels. Check out the layers of dust on the fans and the out of order heating in the rooms. We had a child get sick and vomit on the living room floor and they sent us over Lysol wipes to clean it up- no staff came to clean and didn’t provide us with adequate cleaning supplies - who knows what else is in that carpet. We had a great time because of the location and other amenities but the reunion cabins themselves are now like staying at motel 6 with ritz Carlton prices.

Great location. Been going for about a decade to enjoy the winter activities (skiing, sledding, snowshoeing) while staying in cabins on the property. Definitely suggest avoiding the lodge rooms because they are so loud and cramped. Over the years, the friendliness of the staff has declined as well as the quality of the beds. Their reservation system is horrific if you are trying to reserve a cabin at 6am on opening day of reservations for non-members They've changed systems many times, and this year was the worst yet. Their online reservation folks are also rude when you call at 8am on opening day for non-member reservations. So sad to see such a great, family-friendly place go downhill.

4 stars only because we made the huge mistake of going on vacation here with our kids in October, almost everything is closed down in October .. no zip lines, no ropes course, the summer sledding closed, no bike rentals, no atv tours, it was disappointing. This was very affordable for us, a family of 6. The rooms are comfortable but it’s a lodge, so not luxury but they were definitely clean.I can only imagine the fun this place has to offer in The summer months. It was also beautiful, we stayed in the aspen lodge which was walking distance to most places. We hiked and the waterfall was great , I prefer the hard trail over the easy, beautiful trail! We did go horseback riding, that was well worth it! Have to be age 8 yrs and up by the way. We were able to visit Frazier and granby which were nice little towns, Randi’s restaurant was sooo good btw. We ate at the commons area a lot too, great food for a buffet, we could take leftovers to our room too. The last day it snowed and that made the drive up continental divide a stunning scenery.Nearby activities: Roller skating, basketball, volleyball, a library with books, games, puzzles and toys. Miniature golf, a very nice one too, and indoor swimming with slides and a rock climbing wall!Walkability: Walking distance from most all buildings, lots of trails, this was the only trip I’ve taken and came home to find out I lost weight!

Went here for a retreat this summer. The grounds were nice, but buildings are in need of some maintenance. They are near good hiking and the town of Granby and Grand Lake. We stayed in a lodge and rooms were ok. You need to bring your own shampoo. The food at the dining hall was reminiscent of my army days. After traveling all day, we wanted to get into our rooms and change/ freshen up. The desk was supposed to have our keys at 4. It was 7 before we got them. The next day, we were told we had to get new keys and again could not get into our rooms. This was most annoying. Luckily, our group had a conference room, so we weren't standing around with our luggage and no place to go.My biggest beef was there isn't supposed to be drinking in the common areas. And quiet hours begin at 10. Friday night a group was at the fire pit outside our room. We had balcony door open (no air). They were loud and drinking. At 12:30, I called the main number. She said they had one person who could talk to them. At 1:30 my roommate called and was told...well it IS Friday night. Someone finally came at 2:20. We had a sunrise hike in the RMNP.The company of our group was awesome, however, don't think I would recommend.

Will never return. Booking.com said pet friendly, so I called directly to find out the pet fee. What neither your site, nor their front desk told me was that the pet fee only applies to specific rooms. So, when we checked in after a long day of driving, I had to upgrade to a pet friendly room, which was $100 more than the family room I booked and had less beds. Then we discovered the rooms did not have air conditioning, a coffee maker or a TV. I have never booked a room that didn't have these amenities. This is the second time I have not gotten what I booked with booking.com and I will never use your site again! After checking in we discovered that both the window screen and the sliding door screen were broken. We had to delay getting dinner to resolve this problem. We were then told to move to another room, which was on the other end of the building with no assistance. Overall one of the worst experiences I have ever had on a trip!

Rented mountain bikes and rode their trails while in the area. Beautiful location! We didn’t stay on premises but wished we did. The bike shop rental staff was awesome.Nearby activities: Great mountain biking trails.

The location is beautiful. So much to do for a family. Beautiful spot for a wedding. Nearby granby and Fraser are both very cute towns. The rooms. I guess could best be described as “could be worse”Bed was comfortable. That’s about it for positives. Carpet was stank. Fixtures and furniture all extremely outdated and in poor condition.

Activity list was amazing until having to reserve. Activities and pool do not accommodate the number of guests here. Basically sat in our non a/c rooms with nothing to do because everything was already
