It was a nice Safeway. I was in town for business and I had to stop by and grab something to eat. I'll come back

Very well, I took my medications there and they are always very friendly and when it comes to food, there are things that are very cheap and others that are very expensive, but I think it's the same everywhere when it comes to prices.

Sometimes they're OK, most of the time they are judging you. I shop there often, and still get treated a certain way, depending on how I dress.

I've been a loyal customer at the Broadway Safeway in Grand Junction for years and I really wanted to like this Safeway more than the City Market stores in Grand Junction. However, despite its high prices, Safeway fails to match the expected variety and quality of products. Often, the produce section has empty shelves, and finding assistance is difficult. When prices are considerably higher than in competing stores, the expectations are naturally higher—expectations that Safeway does not seem willing to meet. After once again encountering empty shelves lacking basic items, I decided to return what was already in my cart to the shelves and drove to City Market instead. From now on, I'll treat Safeway as a convenience store—somewhere to quickly grab a forgotten item, nothing more.

I love this place always feels good to shop here but now a little upset. I put an order for some party food and wanted to see if I could pick up a night before and they told me they never got an order through at all. I even have an email saying I put the order. They said they had no order receipt 😏 now I have to figure a last min party dish for a lunch party a night before.

Anytime I come here anymore they don't know where anything is and the self checkout host doesn't even know how to do her job. I came in at 9:45 a.m. on the day I posted this update. One of the managers came and helped me and we figured it out!

We shop at multiple stores throughout the valley, but we love this Safeway. The staff are generally friendly, and the bakery is top-notch. Jessica is AMAZING and has outdone herself with each and every custom cake idea we've thrown at her! We showed up and asked for a “cake with bananas,” and it was adorable! A few months later, we requested "cool race car theme" and, well, you can see how fantastic it was. Most recently, we asked for a "tree stump with grass." The stump cake may be the most magical cake I have ever seen, from the textures to the clumps of "moss." WOW!

What the heck happened to all the good employees? Self-checkout is better than the cashiers. Why is there every morning I have a problem? Get better morning staff
