This is the sorriest excuse for a business I have ever encountered, specifically the Pharmacy. Nearly every employee is rude for no reason, as if it is an inconvenience for them to do the job they are paid to do. They dont answer the phone, even if you call 5 times. Nothing is ever in stock. They make you wait even because none of the prescriptions are ever ready when they are supposed to. Take your business elsewhere. The produce is trash, so are the meats, and everything is grossly overpriced

I go here because I live near it but not a huge fan... Pros - very nice meat and deli employees, vegetables and fruit are always fresh Cons - higher prices than all other stores in the area, cashiers are rude

Sad to say because this store is an easy stop on my way home, but I avoid shopping here whenever possible. The quality is poor, they sell their produce pre-wrapped, organic food is poorly lacking; and my two main complaints: the prices are incredibly expensive compared to other grocery stores in town, and they sell OLD FOOD. Maybe selling beyond the expiration date is a Safeway policy. However, there is a limit, folks! Among other stomach-turning expired purchases, I bought a wheel of brie cheese and, when opened, it smelled and there was nasty red mold growing on it. I checked the expiration date and, sure enough, it was 10 days older than the last date to sell/buy. Yeah, this is an emergency-only store for me.

As a retired QC mgr with a major meat pkging co, your company is experiencing the dreaded over worked under paid formula in your produce dept. I could fix this, but it will cost you. I shopped at the Broadway store and the produce had not been rotated. It may be your opinion that , o well screw it. I however will be going to your competitors for my shopping in the future. Good luck. Bill Crow.
