They refuse to update my phone number so i can’t access my account, avoid this bank at all costs.
UPDATE: A month after leaving this review I got a letter in the mail saying they are closing my account, no reasoning other than they have the ability to close accounts at any time. Scary this bank is regulated, I would run to withdraw your money, they might be going bankrupt. I’ve been a customer here for 8 years or better, that’s how they treat you.

Never answers the phone or calls back. Only branch with these communication problems, as the others I’ve been to have been fantastic communicators. Maybe they need more personnel at this branch.

Amazing bank! Never thought I would say it, but I haven’t had a negative experience with them - they put customer service first. I have banked with every other major bank, even before 2008-2009 changed it all - truly, bank local with alpine!

I’ve used alpine for two years, very nice. I remember Mrs. Mosher helped me make a bank account. She was very informative and nice. I got a debit card and savings account with them. My savings has a 3% interest, which is kinda crazy. They say it goes up the more money you have in there too. The debit card itself was cool, I chose to donate to Colorado environmental funds. Basically when you make any transactions it gives 10c to your selected charity. Which doesn’t cost you extra. They also have the tallest building in GJ, CO, which makes you feel cool having an account there. My biggest complaint is overdraft fees feel excessive. But you know, don’t overdraft lol. I only did so because my old boss stopped paying me for 96 hours of labor. Ran out of money waiting for a check that never came. I think all in all, I would choose to bank with these guys over someone silly like Wells Fargo. The staff is nice, helpful, and the benefits are nice. Also if you’re reading a review to consider making a bank account, don’t overthink it just go here lol.

Alpine Bank definitely has the "local bank" feel, what with the lack of ATMs to deposit cash and the need to fill out deposit slips at a branch to add cash to your account. However, their staff is pleasant and they have a machine you can use to deposit coins without needing to make them into rolls, which is nice because I never have enough for that. I also like that you can pick what charity or collection of charities the bank donates to when you use your card, and the fact that they'll print one out for you on the spot rather than make you wait to get one in the mail. I don't believe their card works with Apple Pay or Google Wallet, though. Opening an account with them was a pretty painless process, as was setting up the online access; and they do have accounts available where there aren't service fees. Overall, despite the missing "nice things" that a larger bank might have, Alpine Bank seems like a pretty decent bank.

Avoid them. $50 fee just because I lost a safe deposit box key. Ridiculous!

Nothing but great experiences at this bank. From their online message support to their very friendly and helpful staff at the branch. I have worked with Katrina on a few occasions and she has been exceptional to work with. I could not be happier!
