“I have an FJ60 that I've owned for a very long time and was tired of watching the roof deteriorate. I wanted to do something so I could continue to use it as a daily driver and camping rig without worrying about it slowly rusting away. I did a lot of research and found Jason's shop online.
I liked that he and his guys seemed to have a lot of experience with older Toyotas and that his business had a good reputation via word of mouth. I spoke with Jason about restoring my roof and after discussing details he was able to get me in within a few days. Jason was very personable and upfront about everything, and it was obvious from our first meeting that he genuinely cares about the work his shop puts out and that the customer is happy with the outcome. Jason was open about the fact that rust repair can be difficult to put an exact cost estimate on since you never know what you're going to find, and despite this he still did what he could to keep the cost reasonable.
Throughout the process I received numerous daily photos of progress on my Land Cruiser along with a brief summary of the work performed and the costs for that day. It was awesome to see exactly what was happening with my vehicle each day instead of guessing how much (if anything) got done-this was very much appreciated, and definitely put me at ease.
Any issues or questions I had for Jason and his team were immediately answered and addressed.
I ended up taking a bus to and from Grand Junction and Jason offered to pick me and drop me off both ways, despite my objections and assurance that I could walk there.
My vehicle was completed in the amount of time that Jason told me it would be done and it met my high standards.
I will provide an update at the 12 month mark, but can say with confidence that I would gladly take any vehicle needing work to Jason’s shop based on the experience so far.”
