“Probably the best thing I’ve done to my truck. I have a Colorado ZR2 with a BDS lift that came with blocks. After a couple years the add a leaf and stock springs were shot and these guys did up a custom leaf pack. Glad I trusted their process because I was worried about the amount of extra weight capacity they were going to use but it worked out perfectly. I can fully flex the rear end, ride is smoother by far than the previous setup, truck is a almost perfectly levelled again (1/2 inch taller in the rear), no more super long centre pin to break and next to no axle wrap compared to before. If you want something you can’t get off the shelf, let these guys build it for you.”

The deer I hit damaged my truck so had to replace bumper, headlight assembly, Front panel, 2 doors panels and the rear panel, ensure all electrical worked. Wow they work expediently and good. Very good, A+ paint job. New vs Old paint all matches up. Would go here again! They have a good team there!”

“Austin and Terran (Spelling?) are amazing. I went and got a part from them, that was crucial to repair before out trip in 36hours, when i got home and got it installed, realized that the new part required a shorter bolt that should have been in the box. I called them 25min until they closed, they realized it was supposed to have included the part, told me to start driving to their store while one of them drove to a different store to get the correct part with the correct bolt. They stayed open late while we waited on the new part to arrive and I could not be more grateful. They made an already stressful time, much better by going well above and beyond what normal customer service would do. They are great employees and have more than earned my business.”

“Enjoyed all aspects of dealing with MHC Kenworth in their special build of a truck. From the purchase, to the custom welding and mechanical work involved in the new features - their team showed great knowledge, ability and communication. From my experience of their management, employees and technicians this outfit shows a lot of depth of right attitude and capability. The worlds of diesel can get pretty dim and MHC is a group that keeps the light. They don't make a big show about it, in fact there is a lot of humility and hard work. They can cost top dollar, but may also create efficiencies and dependability that bring in the bacon back the other way. They also came in reasonable and under other options on a variety of price point comparisons. This is a professional company that has sincere pride in quality of service. They want you to be truly pleased in business you do with them. My feeling was that they are treating people right in the philosophy that for continuing business, that is the only way.

Sometimes, in some buy or repair scenarios, you need professional handling of serious troubleshooting from review of options to working through the tech details. Kenworth Grand Junction shop works on a wide array of equipment, not only Kenworth. I have taken other trucks to them when electronic ghosts or other mysteries have boggled other repair vendors. I think part of their secret is respect for the science itself, and they treat you like a friend that is in the same family of torque vs weight on asphalt, oxygen consumption, horsepower by compression, and a nice tune on the radio...”
