I never have had a problem until tonight when I went in for some baby clothes and used my credit card to pay for the double points. Im guessing the girl was new to the job (since I go often and never seen her there) and then the one that’s been there for some time throws her to the cashier alone instead of going with her to make sure she does stuff the correct way since she was just fixing clothes up. Anyways , I clearly told her I wanted to make my payment on that amount that I had just paid with the card and I then proceed to give her my $100 bill and she said “so you will be paying with $100” I said “yes” and she puts the whole $100 in as payment when I don’t owe anything the balance said “0.00” and says “ the payment will reflect tommorow , I hope you have a goodnight” and I tell her “uh excuse me , my change? , I gave you $100” and she said “oh yea uhhh” and I repeated to her exactly what I told her I wanted to pay and she’s like “I’m sorry I put it in as the full $100 payment” and I’m like “okay but I didn’t tell you to , I just told you a certain amount and I want my money which is when the lady with more experience jumps in and says “what’s going on?” And she explains and she’s like “uhh I’m not sure we can cancel the payment and give her, her money back”. She’s like “sorry but you will have to call the card tomorrow and let them know the problem and have them send you your money in a check in the mail which will take 7-10 days. So now I have to go through the hussle of calling carters tomorrow and explaining so they can send me my money. Point is all this could of been avoided if the girl would’ve paid more attention to what I was telling her and if the other lady would’ve went with her to teach her how to do the payment transactions.

My husband and I had a great experience. The store was very clean and organized, and there were great deals. The woman working was extremely nice and helpful. I will have to get her name the next time we go. We usually go to old navy for new clothes, but I think Carter's will be our new clothing spot.
