Even calling this business is problematic and frustrating. Oh not a customer, enjoy a hold time, you can't even leave a message. They have a national varied price scheme and just getting the recertification price for a tank is hard. Spare yourself, I wish I did.

As a brand new customer I ordered 500 gallons to be delivered to my county address. Gave EXTREMELY detailed instructions to the residence.
The driver calls at 630pm with an attitude about not being able to find the address. I begin explaining the directions and was constantly cut off with her telling me house address and not descriptions..when I asked for descriptions she kept telling me she was at a 3 way intersection. Ending the conversation with....fine I'll just find IT MYSELF!! Then hung up....then she called back and didn't understand why I rejected the order! So now I get to fight for a refund and find another supplier.
Great first experience Ferrell Gas!!!

Jennifer is great in the Grand Junction office. Last May, I ordered propane and they had 3 different excuses as to why they couldn't deliver it (including "ran out of time", "dog" who weighs 5 pounds). Everytime I called, it put another 3 day plus delay on the order. I finally went to the local office because I kept getting hung up on from the main branch. Jennifer had my propane delivered pronto! I ordered propane 12/4 and just got notice , today, the driveway was blocked by the electric company. I have confirmation from the neighbor that the driveway WAS NOT blocked, but the street was down the road.. There are 3 other accesses to my address. This cannot be this hard!

Absolutely the worst customer service. You will lose hours of your life on hold and still not have your problem ressolved.

I needed help yesterday with a possible gas leak at my house. The driver came quickly which was much appreciated. He did a great job and did not find a leak which I was thankful for. I asked if they could fill the tank since he was already there. They called to take payment then could not because the computer was broken. They called today and added $611.24 to the bill for additional fees. The gas was only $461.76. I feel taken advantage off. When I expressed my concern no one seemed to care at all. They just wanted the money. I'll be switching companies now.

Wife and I were traveling through Grand Junction on vacation in our rv. Had a gas leak. Had to replace lp tank. Ask Ferrellgas to make final connection and leak test. Was told they don’t work on small tanks and to call an rv Mobil service.

I called Thursday January 5 theat 3:40 in the afternoon and all I got was a recording of coworkers singing Christmas songs. And a recording telling me how important my business is. So on Friday I drove to you facility and arrived 3:35 pm to closed gate and a closed sign and signs explaining your hours. I'm wondering if you are even in business.

UPDATE YOR BUSINESS HOURSTheir website says quite specifically that cylinder refill hours at the Grand Junction location are until 5pm, but if you drive all the way down there one minute past 4pm you'll find the gate is locked because they stop doing refills at 4pm.

We were on a trip to Moab and had a gas leak issue with our trailer. Amanda on the phone assured me that they could take care of it in Grand Junction. We stopped in they were awesome! They made a couple custom hoses, filled a tank and hardly charged us what I thought they should. I will be a Ferrellgas customer anytime I have a choice!

Been buying propane here for more than 2 years. In the past they have been very good, just take your tanks empty because there are no meters so you pay by the tank. Well after a few months of no island service, I stuck with them because of good past experience. Today was different. Went in, the new guy filled the RV and a 30lb tank. He seemed confused so I told him the sizes, 24 for the RV, 9 for the 30lb cylinder. It's engraved on the damn tanks and this was the second time he filled them! I told him they only get 80% filled so that's 19 and 7 gallons, 26 total. He rang it up. Over $150. I nearly hit the roof. I complained it should be around $100. It was obvious he was charging for full tanks. After complaining, a woman came over and corrected it. $107. Still charged 0.50 per gal more for the 30lb cylinder. She wanted to check my cylinders. The ones they had been filling the past 2 years. I mean, its not like they're standard sizes or anything. If her employee got the capacities wrong he would have been wrong by at least a factor of two! Either she thought I was lying, which is insulting, or she thought her employee could'nt figure it out which is frightening. She checked the capacities, apologies not accepted, and left. I understand they've had problems, but double checking a long standing customer filling a recurring order like that was uncalled for, and you would think they would make sure an employee on the island, unsupervised, with no meters would have basic maths skills and understand what he was doing. I know he's been there at least two months! How many people have they over charged because of this, and what he's doing can be very dangerous and kill someone! They have enough propane onsite to take out an entire city block and have an unsupervised employee in charge ignorant enough about the job to do it! Who's regulating this? Furthermore, not every order is recurring and such an overcharge could easily be missed. Adding 50% on the bill is a helluva mark-up! I will probably go in again and talk to the manager about it. As I said I'm an old account and I won't let a new employee, however bad he is, and a single insulting incident by an old one completely trash a long standing relationship. Just don't let it happen again.
